Hi all, i've been reading LTLF for ages, but don't tend to post

spotted this on the Mail website,

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1223608/THE-LIST-Top-50-football-kits-time--Nos-20-11.html

our 78 kit is apparently the 20th best kit of all time, can't believe it was beaten by the Scotland kit thats on there, i wonder where the 96 yellow away kit is in the rankings...

Dave
I loved that shirt, even had a hoodie to match. By the way in the Celtic picture at no.19 I believe the guy behind 'Jinky' is Tommy Gemmill who once scored a goal in the Trent End having taken the shot from his left back position adjacent to the dug outs on the halfway line. Against Coventry I believe?

So they use a picture of a player we signed in 1979 to demonstrate our 1978 kit?

(OK it was the same kit but they shouldn't have been so specific about the year)

One thing about most of the kits is simplicity, clean lines and a lack of faff with trim etc
I love the current England shirt , it is porbably my favourite ever after '66

Shipperly?

Interestingly the sale of Neil Shipperly, and the goals he subsequently scored, is part of a list on the FOND website....apparently showing his sale as a mistake :D
