A Shopping List

First Team Squad
I've made this list as a run-down of potential targets that i would buy for Forest.
However, many would only be should current players leave.
The list is mostly of players in our division or lower, which i believe are realistically transferrable by club and probable value.

Striker

Charlie Austin - Swindon
Jay Bothroyd - Cardiff
Steve Morison - Millwall
Michael Chopra - Cardiff
Danny Graham - Watford
Bradley Wright-Phillips - Plymouth

Who would you add to this list, and why?

I'd take Chopra off it, too old, and Wright-Phillips off it because he's a handbag snatching little shitbag.

Glad to see you leave Best off of the striker list.

I'd also leave Bradley Wright-Phillips off it because he is shit.

Put Wheater on it. Yes, he not be coming but hey ho

From leagues one and two - Lambert & LeFondre are definitely worth a punt. Top scorers in their respective leagues is reason enough..

I've made this list as a run-down of potential targets that i would buy for Forest.

Darren Pratley - Swansea

Peter Whittingham - Cardiff

Sources close to the club confirm these two from your list are done and dusted, and want to come to Forest.

Left Back
Tommy Rowe - Peterborough

Are you smoking crack, or just picked him as a random name?

When Posh signed Rowe he was (and still is) a left-winger. He's been playing left-back and making a shockingly bad job of it, only because they don't have a left-back. If you watch most of their games he's at fault for a large percentage of their goals conceed.

nice post alex....my top targets would be in no particular order this month would be....bertrand extended loan,or danny shittu if available frm millwall.. pratley, woolford..and i,d like us to get c. austin as our dream striker wif earnie up front...please god....no besty..and finally andy reid thats gone back to sunderland thanks to gary speed....yes pleeeeeeease!!..then thats our team complete..lol

No chance for Loach, Watford will want to much in transfer demands and there have been a few Premier League clubs interested so i would cross him off the list.

I don't think we can afford to buy all of those. ;)

would like to see us get Wilfried Zaha from Palace, he's been getting rave reviews from palace fans, from what Ive seen of him, he looks one for the future...would be worried about Ambrose from your list as he's now getting very injury prone, a quality player no doubt but often goes missing

I doubt these are realistic. Camp is more than good enough for us at the moment, and we really need a keeper to push him, but accept that he may be on the bench for a while. Loach is being watched by Spurs and Arsenal, and Smithies is very, very highly rated (he was superb when Huddersfield played Wendies yesterday) and is being tracked by a number of Premier League sides.

Joe Lewis and Stuart Tomlinson are more serious targets, but even then, would they prefer to go to a Championship side with the number 1 jersey, or at Forest, on the bench?

Need a CB if Kelvin goes (Beevers is a good shout, but hasn't been in the greatest of form in L1), a LB or 2, a LM and a striker to replace Garner (even if he doesn't go, I think it's probably time for him and us to part ways).

Who would you add to this list, and why?

I went to Asda yesterday and none of the items on this shopping list were on the shelves.

Aside from Darren Pratley, who was on a shelf on the Crisp aisle.

Got 1500 nectar points... what will that buy us?

You can't. I've got that amount on my nectar card but Coventry weren't interested. They wanted 2000 points. And 150 Tesco Clubcard points.

I would add Bertrand as left back as I am a dreamer. In the paper today it said that Chelsea have called back their 19 year old left back Ben Gordon from a successful loan at Kilmarnock. They want him to join an English team on loan as they rate him very highly. So, now let me be the weaver here...If Bertrand heads back to the bridge could we have Gordon instead? As I said I am a dreamer. Whilst the dream is still alive...

Goalkeeper
Don't need one.

Defence
Already mentioned

Midfield
Hamill - Wolves want him so no chance.

Ambrose - Off to QPR, I hear, maybe today.

Striker

Le Fondre from Rotherham may be a good call.

Now back to dreaming before I get shot down.

Yeah just like Findley choose Wolves over us!

Matt Tubbs from Crawley. If wikipedia is to be believed :)

Apps Goals
2003–2010 Salisbury City 179 (164)
2008 → Bournemouth (loan) 8 (1)
2010– Crawley Town 18 (15)

Can we sign Crockett as well?

Come now, Tubbs!

Well people are saying Le Fondre who has done OK in one tier above him :D

He's scored against forest too :)
