A great advert for the championship?

I certainly thought so. Both sides played some good stuff and we saw a good example of why this league is so tight i.e. both sides have very different strengths but served up a great game of football all the same.

A lot of people would say that this league is poor because there are so many evenly matched teams, but I would disagree. This league is very even but we have seen some great football this season and with 12-14 teams in with a shout of promotion, I cannot see how it can be anything other than exciting.

We are not world beaters or even midtable prem-beaters anymore, but this is the best we have seen for 5-6 years and this league provides excitement every single week. Yes I want to see us back in the top flight, but for now, I am happy here.

Oh of course, any game like that has to be better than any top 4(Prem) 1-0 boring result.

It was a very good game given the conditions. I think we did try to pass it around 90% of the time, and we did put some nice passes together, but the final ball was lacking.

I think the fact that the likes of Stoke, Hull, Burnely and Wolves are making a good account of themselves in the Prem, whilst the likes of the Baggies, Newcastle and Boro aren't finding it a breeze in the Championship demonstrates what a really competitive league this is.

The standard is certainly getting higher.

No wonder my post count..
They've done a good job with camera placement at Cardiffs new ground also.

I totally agree with these comments.

Last night, Forest and the Welsh produced a good example of how competitive Championship football should be played.

Derby, however, produced a great example last week on how it shouldn't be done! lol

Although last night's game of football was a corker. If its an advert for the championship then I'm calling trading standards as most weeks, most punters are getting a much inferior product.
