Viv Anderson
Danny Baker on 606 on Tuesday has introduced a fantasy "King Herod Cup" where only players born in a particular city/town/area can compete for a team.

Surely Nottinghamshire i.e. Forest, Notts and Mansfield can get a team to beat most.

Without too much thought I've got:

Defenders - Viv Anderson, Dave Watson

Midfielders - Jermaine Jenas, Darren Huckerby

Forwards - Tony Woodcock, Andy Cole, Garry Birtles, Steve Sutton


Any ideas?

Whilst I admire your commitment to the present and recent team I have to say That I reckon that Perch, Bennett, Morgan, Hoskins and Commons aren't in the same class as the others.

Went to school in Worksop, live on the boarder of Worksop but have an S postcode.

Grey area im afraid.

And I always remembered Stevie as a Goalkeeper!! :unsure:

Stretching a point calling Cyclops a goalkeeper - I did, of course, mean Chris Sutton but congrats! I noticed the error soon after the original post but it appears no-one else diduntil you!
