I Don't wont to come across as smug, but at the start of the season i put £30 pounds on us winning the league at 40-1. I was excited because of the signings we had made, and thought that the midfield signings were critical as this in my mind has been were we have been lacking for a long long time. Anyone else looking at a good payout as i think we will really do it, and i know there were odds of 60-1. :nowink: ;D PS last nights performance from players to fans was perfection !!!!!!!!!

yes i did 40 -1 but did it each way cus i have no faith silly me any way i think i get a pay out for 3rd place so alls looking good at the mo

this is tempting fate though like we're nearly countin our bounty before its won....like last weekend when i was waitin on Real Madrid to win at Osasuna for my nice little earner, bleedin 0-0 and the most odds on price i picked.

Yeah you'll get a quarter the odds for 2nd or 3rd on an Each-way bet so its 10/1 a place in effect.
Me being both Mr Safe and Optimist had £10 e/way at 33/1 for the league but also £20 at 8/1 for the Reds to be promoted which i thought was the bet to have since the play offs count so top 6 finish is enough for a sniff of that. Just a bit gutted i didn't put my bets on a bit earlier because i was watching the way our odds kept tumbling down (along with Notts') for a month before the big kick off.
I even tipped the Leyton Orient fans off about us on their 606 board because they're a right bunch of gamblers lol

I took the 14-1 option on promotion rather than the 40-1 outright. If I was offered those two prices again now I'd still pick 14-1.

I wasnt as confident as some, I only stuck a £5er on us at 40-1 with VC...

.. As a result, said to a mate at start of season we would miss out on top spot by a point or so, as is my luck with betting on football!
