got back to newcastle at 4.30am this morning, driving up the A1 was a nightmare, had nothing but hassle off the wife because i cannot be borthered to go out tonight, but in her words "you can drive half the night after watching Forest" nag nag nag....."you care more about Forest, than me" was her parting shot as she stormed off to bed......couldnt resist shouting after her "sometimes i care more about Derby than you"

was it worth it?

DAMM RIGHT and i would/will do it all again......

did/does anyone else get any hassle from the dragon, and how do you deal with it?

ps did anyone else think the WBA stewards were almost human, and dare i say helpfull?

My missus knows not to come between me and Forest :D

Didn't go last night (gutted!) but have experienced West Brom stewards in the past and found them good :)

the stewards seemed to be football fans...instead of victims of childhood bullying......a massive difference to the cnuts who work for Palace

Years and years ago, I was engaged to a lass, her pals birthday party and Forest away at Coventry. I'll see you about 8-30p.m when I get back. For some reason she spat her dummy out and told me It was either picking her up at 7-30 pm or not at all..........this is Friday night, my choice.........

I had a fantastic day out with my pals, crap match, but good night, did not attend the party and she broke off the engagement, I allowed her to grovel round me but that was really the thin end of the wedge. I met Mrs Sedge later, and broke off the engagement for good, married thrity years this year in August, been a regular all that time.........................A mans got to do, what a mans got to do 8)

I think you should go out in the morning and buy her some nice flowers and some chocolates and try to explain that Forest has always been in your life although you do love her equally. Its either that or iron your own clothes and make your own pack up for monday !!!!!

Ah, my girlfriend knows how it works.

She even keeps an eye on Soccer Saturday to see how Forest have got on, so she knows what mood I'll be in when I get home. She's even mentioned wanting me to take her to a game this season (she's a - much - lapsed supporter, although she still has a couple of Forest shirts, circa 94-95 season).

She's a keeper! ;D

Just remind them how much shit you have to put up with every 28 days and that its only an hour and a half each week they have to deal with.

It was 1975 when I first started going out with my (now) wife and, due to a complication, we had to spend whatever time we could together. That meant that she started going to Forest with me (home and away) and loved it.

When the kids came along she stopped going and has just never bothered going again. Her early experience does mean, however, that she understands how I feel about Forest and would never put me in a position of having to make a choice. My son and I disappear early every Saturday and she reckons it gives her the time to get the housework done without working around us.

I've already said to my son that if he ever meets a woman like his mother he should marry her before some other bastard nicks her.

Alrite bonfire where about's in Newcastle do you live? I am currently living in Bedlington with work at the moment although used to live in Gosforth but from Sutton originally.

Got a season ticket and go to all weekend games and go to most away games within 200 miles if you fancy a car share? I know there's a few others on here who live in the areas as well.

In answer to your post my missus is a Sunderland season ticket holder so she can't really say a great deal!
