that stand held about 4,000 and tbf we packed it apart from the far right side.

Shit pit and the police around the ground were idiots. They try to cause more trouble then bloody stop any. "notts Forest supporters are not allowed past this part" SOD OFF :mad:
 
was in one of the escorts from the train station. Was at the side and basically evertime i looked like i was going to leave the escort even if i had to move in the direction to avoid an obstacle or person i got shoved back into the group.
 
Im not normally the first to get on the police's back but there was no atmosphere leaving the ground till we got to the police. Sometimes they stir things up when its not needed.

No complaints here.

Got an early train in and no intervention by police. Walked to the ground on my own, no trouble from any Barnsley fans (got most of it on the train!) and the ground was okay too.

Walked back to the train station with Barnsley fans all round, no problems then either.
 
there was a few dodgy looking people there yesterday which the police was having a close look at. Maybe i look dodgy who knows but when I'm with my dad who is wearing a Forest shirt, going to find a pub there is no need at all for the police to be treating you like your criminals no reason at all.

Do they have the right to say you can't walk here you have to turn back round and go to the ground now?

Before the Preston game we arrived at the ground under police escort i think but we was free to go for a walk around and was even sat in a pub with some home fans having a drink with them.

It is as if the police yesterday was just expecting us all to start trouble. We went up to that leisure centre and one copper try to stop one of the stewards off the coaches and said "where are you going lads?" then went running up to the leisure centre on his radio panicking.

But it's all part and parcel of being a football fan and you just have to not let them get to you and put it down to some police officers are idiots.

Will he always be a scab?

What if in the next national overtime ban he chooses to go on strike when members from the yorkshire branch of his union continue to work to their contract?
 
Even the Chilean minors didn't go on strike and look how bad they've got it.

He went on strike for one day but had just married and had a kid on way he needed the money. Not much chance of him going on strike now in his current job.

What are you basing that statement on?

I've enjoyed being part of our away support, i've sung some funny songs about past players and managers but we're not as prolific as villa.
 
When was the last time Villa travelled to Barnsley for a league game? When was the last time they travelled to Carlisle, Yeovil or Weymouth?

We've been put through ten years of absolute dross and still travel in huge numbers. If we'd been in the Premiership since forever I'm sure we'd take 6,000+ to every game.
 
I thought yesterdays support although decent in size (I would have guessed more than 2400 to be honest) was quite muted which is rarely the case with us away. It was the worst away atmosphere for sometime in my opinion. Our away support is really good although I don't think we are the best away fans. But not bad not bad.
 
That stand holds a total of 6,000 and it was clearly more than half-full.

I know it was made pay-on-the-day for Forest fans, so maybe 2,400 was the number of advance tickets sold.

Even if that figure is correct, it's still double what Derby took earlier in the season
