I was looking at that the other day. Prior to Palace's recent upturn there was a fair gap between the bottom 7 & the rest.
We have 9 points in 10 games against the bottom 7 (1 win: Sheff Utd (H))
Luton have 13 points in 11 games (3 wins: Everton (A), Palace (H), Sheff Utd (A))
Everton have 20...
Sky are hosting Super Sunday from Spurs for the North London Derby, so I doubt they'd be here anyway.
Edit: If that's from the 'ex-nffc' account, he's full of shit.
By my Maths, Nuno's Premier League PPG has dropped (marginally) below Cooper's.
Cooper = 55 games / 52 points = 0.945
Nuno = 17 games / 16 points = 0.941
Talking about refereeing decisions, VAR, etc bores the life out of me so I won't go too much into that but I think it's clear that we should've had 2 penalties. The first one on Reyna was soft, so I'll let that one slide but the handball (especially considering the current 'tolerance' for...
Well Hemmings has just turned 17 & Blake is 15/16. So still a few years away from deciding whether or not they'd get in our 'PL squad/team'.
We probably don't have many that have PL potential currently, we'll have even fewer if we continue to lose the ones that are representing England prior to...
I don't think 16 year old's were ever expected to make our PL squad. However, it looks as though we've lost our biggest talent from this years scholarship intake to Derby, after losing our best talent (Hemmings) last year to Villa.
You could somewhat understand losing a player to Villa as they...
They've always had it in for Yates. I stopped listening a few years ago after one episode which was particularly vitriolic towards him.
They were all big Carvalho fans though, so...
They tried to move the away fans up there a few years ago (when Fawaz decided he wanted home fans behind both goals) and it didn't go down well. Lots of complaints from ST holders up there (including me), so they reversed & split the lower bridgford.
I still have hope for Sangare but I don't think he's ever gonna be much of a playmaker. Someone to replace Mangala's spot in the squad but with a better range of passing.
First choice LB. Let Aina/Williams scrap it out at RB. Maybe bring Richards back to eventually take Toff's place in the squad.
Right sided CB. Ideally one who's big, strong & good in the air (a 26 year old Willy Boly).
Left footed winger/AM. Someone who's comfortably drifting in from the right...
As I said in the other thread, I've been lucky as I'm in the Upper Bridgford 'Zone 4'. So only a modest increase for me.
Not sure how they decide on some of the zones though. The view/leg room in the corners of the lower Clough is terrible (and they used to leave T block empty) yet that's Zone 3?
I've had a right result with the new 'zoning'. Upper Bridgford Zone 4, increase of £15 I think.
No idea how they can charge £300 more to watch the same product in a 'better' seat, but hey ho?
With Guehi, Doucoure, Olise & Eze missing quite a bit of the season, I expected Palace to be dragged right into the scrap. They've done well to do enough to stay just clear.
Wharton with another good performance. He'll go for £50m+ in a year or two.
I've watched it several times. Yeh, he could have tucked in behind but I maintain the bigger issue was Omobamidele allowing a striker to carry it 50 yards & then getting turned far too easily as soon as he's backed into the box.
I presume he runs on the outside because he wants to win the ball...
