I admire your unbridled optimism.Thomas.
Have you analysed our away form in the past 2 seasons?

I’m too well aware of our horrid history.

But, If we go to Everton with our we started at Spurs, we can replicate this Chelsea performance.

According to form tables we are above everton over the last 10 or 6 matches. I don't see anything to suggest we need to be overly cautious going into the match.

I’ve analysed it and the only teams objectively worse than Sheffield United and Burnley that we’ve played away are still in the Championship and never left.

If you get pace around the sides of Everton and they creak every time & we've also got a top tier tap in merchant. If we score early we could do them, as long as dont do what Chelsea are doing with marking on set pieces (Palmer on Tarkowski lmao). Only 2 GD better than us atm too!

Interesting scene at Chelsea - falling out among themselves over who'll take the penalty. They may be running away with the match but it doesn't look like all's well in the changing room...

Do we really want an Everton who would be fired up anyway, doubly charged seeking redemption for the thrashing they got tonight?

One man's redemption is another man's confidence destroyer.

BBC Report: Everton bounced back today with a crucial 1-0 win coming from a James Tarkowski header in the 89th minute, a huge 3 points following their 5-0 drubbing at Stamford Bridge.
