Don’t shoot the messenger but I’m hearing up here we’re appealing the 4 points deduction 🤔.

I understand more now why Forest feel hard done by - we have been treated unfairly I understand the expert is a Forest fan but he makes some excellent points about how badly this has been managed by the Premier League.
Listened this morning as well. It’s really all just a media pantomime circling round big business. Football is so lost. We’ve spent 23 years chasing something that died long ago.

Not saying they don't raise some decent points, nor that the Prem shouldn't reflect on some rules, but it's all a bit mardy to me.

All this drama, and maybe if the manager would have used the set piece coach to...you know...work on set pieces...this would all be less relevant.

Latin makes a damn sight more sense than modern jazz, words cannot describe how bad that stuff is.
Now I spent a couple of weeks in New Orleans those know how to do Jazz properly.
Last time I was in New Orleans stayed at the Mattiott on Canal Street. Celebrated by playing "Canal Street Blues" by King Oliver on the bus speakers as we arrived at the hotel. Then found there was a wandering trio led by Alvin Alcorn (played cornet with Kid Ory) going round the lobby.

I was in heaven. Then got locked in a bar, late night, with Alphonse Domino (son of Fats) and his band after a gig.

You're right, proper jazz!

Is that the FA in the Dock? Or a thirteen-man jury?

Both.

And the dog is also the FA.

And the independent regulator is outside knocking on the door.

That's a very good summerisation of how we were fuc.ked-over, and explains why it was right and proper to lodge the appeal.

Not a bad interview it seems. Doesn't really say more than we already knew and points that have been discussed on here in the many circles we have gone round on. But it did lay it out clearly.

The one point I thought it drew out clearly was the framework how Forest were effectively stitched up by the EPL.

The scariest thing about this is the fact that we might have to sell our best players to avoid more punishment next season!
I've heard that Villa will be in a similar predicament.
Such horseshit.

“It is the fourth time in 18 months that Forest have faced a sanction for surrounding a match official. In its conclusion, the regulatory commission that imposed the latest sanction said "future breaches of the rules may be treated more severely".

…wonder if they’ve considered why it’s happening…

Probably hasn't crossed their minds...

Wonder if they don't care, and if Marinakis has painted a target on the club for stuff like this now?

It's amazing how many people still think the governing bodies have any interest in fairness, and aren't completely driven by self-interest and gain.

I don't think the fairness or otherwise of our case for the removal of the points reduction matters.

What matters is the attitude of the appeal committee and if they have already decided that our case has no merits.
