Can someone summarise that- if it's relevant.

I can't listen to a West Midlands chump for 10 minutes.
Loves Nuno, could be the dream solution for Forest because lots of similarities.

Nuno's problem was when the talismanic Raul got injured and he couldn't figure out how to play the side and get goals.

Nottingham's dirty secret
Does anyone know what size backroom staff Nuno has?

I'm hoping that's one thing which will be addressed. As much as I love Coops I can't help but feel this was an Achilles of his for some time
I've just read that he's got an entourage of 8 or so that are non-negotiables in terms of staff.

I'm sure he'll fit right in here then.

He basically says Nuno was their Cooper, that there was a mutual bond and love there, and that he shares a lot of similarities with Cooper tactically too.

Knows how to play on the counter-attack.

Had a falling out with MGW at Wolves.

Injuries hampered him (which obviously won't be a problem here lol)

Wouldn't play Vitinha, who went on to be a PSG and Champions League regular

I can hear great boulders and rocks lifting across the trent valley. Who knows what lurks beneath(?).

Which is a sad indictment of the "what have you done for me lately?" nature of football in the 2020s; something that is particularly prevalent in the Premier League
Agreed that it's a sad indictment. But it is the way of the football world now.

People are ploughing 100s of million into clubs and they want returns.

Lets be honest, we hired Clough after a shocker at Leeds and he turned out to be our best manager. We've hired managers with pedigree before and they've been wash outs.

If he's loved by Wolves' fans though, I'm not taking that as an endorsement. :ROFLMAO:

He's got a return.

The club has a book value 20x what it was since Cooper took over.

Might be wrong on this but I always understood that what problems he had with Wolves management were with Bruno Lage.
Think he may have thought they didn't give him enough chances, Lage was apparently prepared to build the team around him when we bought him. apparently his missus didn't like living in wolverhampton either as someone who does live here, can't really blame her

Everyone knew Clough was probably amongst the best (if not the best manager) in the game at the time-
the Leeds appointment was destined to fail from the start.
I think this is a desperate throw of the dice by EM.

It's a guess as the accounts from our first PL season haven't been released yet, but TV revenue has added over £200m to the coffers, attendances up, merchandising up, 8 figure kit sponsor this year, intangible branding assets will be significantly up.

So somewhere between 15x-25x is likely.

Does that make him 15x-25x better off ?

Personally, I'm sad that we have parted ways with SC, however let's get real - no manager survives the run and trajectory we are on. Not in any league. EM has been pretty lenient not just this season, but in the past.
Football has been dire this season and to an extent last season, only usurped by the avoidance of relegation.
The number of times we can't do any basics and don't look like we have a clue going forwards won't have gone unnoticed.

I'm torn on Nuno, but I think it will be an upgrade in terms of football and I'll get behind him on Saturday and onwards from there. His record is decent and he will get some funds in January no doubt to get a striker, keeper and winger.

Stay positive
