Grabban, Cooper, AMN, MGW, Henderson, Niakhate,

In contact with, looking to sign, deal being offered, things are progressing, closing in on, blah blah blah...

We have still completed the sum of f*** all so far in terms of actual signings.

I know, I know, deep breaths....

It does seem like the gates opened today. Arsenal with viera, Bayern and mane, bissouma, leeds and roca, southampton signed two, Brighton got a youngster in.

Back to Cooper & Johnson both being in Greece.

It seems like most of our hierarchy is there too, Doukeras is there too so I would expect a lot next week.

First Team Squad
Not sure when they start training, but the Hertha Berlin friendly (only one muted so far) is likely to be in the 3rd week of July.

If this window is telling me one thing, it's that I don't watch nearly as much European football as a lot of you do. Perhaps I should get into it a bit more.

Have you noticed that every single player we sign and have targeted since Dane came in has physicality, either strength or pace or both.

We were so slow and just looked unfit for years, I think this is one of the basics they look for in every player now.

It's why the chatter of Neco Williams I think is miles off. Great player but small and not particularly quick, so just doesn't fit the Forest ideal.

I'm quite happy with it, the game had become more physical over recent years and Forest have too often struggled against teams who just have a bit more about brawn about them. We aren't going to complete on footballing quality easily this year so set pieces will become very important.

I have only seen videos, but he seems to have a quick football mind, which is often just as good as leg speed.

Syrianos talked about this in an article as a very deliberate change in recruitment as soon as he was brought in.

Believe it’s this one https://www.transfermarkt.de/nottin...langsam-abnehmen-ldquo-/view/news/394276?s=09

I seem to recall an interview (and I am not going to go looking for it where (I think it was ) Dane Murphy said that one of the objectives of last years recruitment was to get in physically strong and fast players that made us the quickest team in the Championship.

Seems a template to follow.
