Not that I'm defending him...
...but having spent a bit of time in that part of the world, in Dutch, using the term "they" is often analogous to saying "we", it's a language thing (Dutch is an odd language like that).
This may just be someone quoting literally what a non-native English speaker is saying.

For me its all about effort , Jason Lee, Moussi etc might not be the best gifted players in the world but they gave 110% , If you arn't good at least try..

Didn't have enough time to get used to the pace of the league for me. He could finish and, like Britt, a goalscorer can do naff all for 89 min so long as they bang one in for me.
We'll never know, but I hope the new signings get more game time before they're written off.
