The EFL really are an absolute shower.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

Hopefully they act in such a manner when it comes to punishing Derby.

    Good signing for The Stags.

Proper utility player, he’ll do well at that level.

Just don’t play him as Left Back in any important games

An approach to invest in Wrexham AFC Limited has been received by two extremely well-known individuals of high net worth.

    Hughes and Savage ?

Andy Scott of the Sweet +1

Kate Robbins and Paul Burrell ?

I note that the National League doesn't have any league games this month. I know not why.

However, all the excitement is stored up for Saturday 3 October when the King's Lynn are playing their opening fixture against Yeovil at the Walks on BT TV! The Linnets on TV, just amazing.

All I have to do now is find out how to get a short pass to BT Sport.

I walked past the Linnets grounds couple of weeks ago when we went for a walk into Kings Lynn. You can see right onto the pitch. Do folk stand on the footpath and watch or do they somehow block the view?

To be honest I haven't been that close to the ground for some years. I go to Lynn for school reunions or to do a bit of family history, but rarely stay too long. I'm a long distance fan these days. I used to watch them whilst at school in the 50s, but my renewed interest was sparked by a resurgence after the club went bust in 2009. Things have gone very well so far.

There was the same situation at the Victoria Ground for some time, viewing between two of the stands, until Stoke put a great big screen up to block the view. I took several pictures of the pitch though I was unable to gain entry to the ground.

Tim Flowers had only been in the job for 3 weeks.

Sadly, I suspect many more will be wound up over the course of this season. National league clubs are relying on supporters being allowed to attend when they start next month.

Reading about it, it’s farcical. The owner thought they owed 20k when on fact ot was over 500k. What sort of twat knows that little about his business?

    Other than Fawaz obviously.

So Macc fail, because they owe a little less than two-weeks of Mezut Özil‘s wages.

Ah football, I remember when you used to be fair.

To be fair, they failed because their owner was clearly inept, crooked or both.

This was on the cards long before Coronavirus, and they dug their own hole. At least in the boardroom.

I don't give a fuck about the likes of Macclesfield because I'm going to watch £200m worth of Chelsea's new players on Sky

It's very sad. The club are only 9 years younger than Forest. You've got to feel for the fans.

We'll never get a chance to avenge their 100% win record against us now.

Salford will be all right though, as long as Sky keep putting their man's club on TV.

I don’t think I’ve seen it mentioned on Sky, too busy spunking themselves into a frenzy over Bale returning to Spurs
