You know you're a shit footballing nation when you have the name of said nation printed in massive letters across the front of your shirt.

Agree. In fact everything about 90s Ireland shirts was utterly great and everything since has just been disappointing by comparison.

That is lovely. Somewhere (God knows...!) I have the replica one with the „Opel“ branding on it.

Ah, Opel or Vauxhall? Audi or Auto union? Sorry, just thinking out loud about alternative branding.

In Ireland, the Cars are all branded as Opel, not Vauxhall (even though they are right-hand-drive).

Auto-Union was bought by Volkswagen alongside the old NSU company in the 1960s, and both were joined together to make the modern-day Audi company.

The „Four-Circles“ badge on every modern Audi is the original Auto-Union insignia.

It's just a decent quality template really. But not bad, and the rarity is extreme!! You just do not find these. With embroidered badge even more so. It's absolute unicorn shit

Thanks! My Mrs nearly killed me when she found out what I spent on it but honestly, the amount of joy it gave me when it arrived is genuinely disproportionately massive

Everytime I see this thread, it reminds me that I have to get a Congo football shirt - then I'm reminded how much effort that actually takes and end up not bothering...

Cheers! Getting a Democratic Republic of Congo shirt isn't all that hard nowadays. In a slightly bizarre twist they are actually currently supplied by Irish manufacturers O'Neills: https://www.oneills.com/uk_en/shop-b...-of-congo.html

If you're after a Republic of Congo (AKA Congo-Brazzaville) shirt then that's another matter. It's one of the top 5 hardest to get international shirts in the world.

Here are the top 5 hardest hanging on my stairs.

Unfortunately it is the Republic of Congo (Brazzaville) that I’ve always associated with, as that was the only one called Congo at the time I had my nickname bestowed upon me.

    Better than being called Bangerz
