    Default If Billy is reading.....

here's a centre half that would be worth enquiring about: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...ic/8221446.stm

may not be 100% fit to slot straight into the side but i think would be well worth a look for the long term.

When Calderwood was just appointed manager of Forest in 2006 and we was looking for a new keeper. I wrote him a letter and suggested to sign Jason Brown as his contract at Gillingham was about to expire.

He very kindly wrote back to me and he even signed it too.

sorry, we all know we want a centre-half so nobody should mention it again. We are also playing Derby Saturday, but we all know this so we shouldn't mention it, is that right?

Why do we need a new Centre back? Wes hasn't played badly all season so I can't see why anyone would want to drop him.

    Talk to me, Goose.

The more concerning thing about this is how able other clubs seem to be in terms of conducting their transfer dealings quickly - we've failed to sign a centre-half despite wanting one for at least eight months now. How useless must you be to have money, to be an attractive club, yet still fail after so long to sign even one player? I understand that we have standards, but surely there are a good fifty players out there who would do what we require? The lack of a centre-half after so long worries me.

Pretty sure we signed 9 players.

I spoke to a Notts fan at the weekend who was pissed off that they'd on'y won 3-0. You remind me of him.

Chambo and Wes have been immense so far, obvioulsy sometimes a bit shakey, but the last 2 games against strong opposition they have excelled themselves .Yes we need cover for left back or even a replacement but Lynch can be ok on his day!
