Default Stan Collymore in a Forest shirt

Has anyone else noticed it's pretty damn hard to find good pictures of Collymore in his Forest days?

The Mirror ran a "Stand Collymore Collection" feature on their website and he was wearing the garibaldi in just one of about 35 pictures. I had a look on google and there aren't many there either.

Have they all been destoryed or something? I can find a few picture but most are low quality or really small.

Same goes for Archie Gemmill Which is a little more understandable as most are in his Derby days or playing for Scotland but it's still bloody frustrating.

Quite surprising as it was with us that he really started to make a name for himself.

Digital photography barely existed back then, though, so you're bound to get a lot more pictures of players post 2000ish sort of time when people began to really be able to use digital cameras and take loads of shots/post them on t'interweb etc.

Most pictures of Stan at Forest were taken for newspapers as opposed to internet sites, remember.

I know you'll find more from more recent players but there are less than I'd expect when you consider the amount of photos there would have been taken of him for local papers and the programmes etc...

I think the main problem is that Stan has been photographed numerous times, but mostly for incidents unrelated to football.... Ulrika ka ka. etc

It is quite funny some of the random things that come up when you put his name into an image search. Loads of pictures for the film he did of which the name escapes me right now.

I've checked google images and it is quite hard to find pics of him wearing a Forest shirt.

Did any of the replica home shirts have the Labatt's pressed on like this, or only player issue?

My replica from that season the sponsor is just part of the shirt!

Well noticed! My home shirt is printed, but the purple away shirt has the raised transfer one on!

My replica shirt from that season was printed on too. In that picture, stan looks like agogo

The player issued shirts had the badges embroidered and the sponsor embossed on the home shirt.

Also, if you had a name and number put on that shirt in the club shop you didn't get the Umbro logo on the bottom like the players did.

Aye, back in the day when replicas really were just that!

The blue/purple kit had a raised logo on it though.

I wish I still had mine, no idea what happened to them
