if this is true I would be happy. He's a decent keeper. Just ignore Kenny, he's one of these aggressive posters who will stop at nothing to make you look stupid.

Players tend to get sent out on loan to gain first team experience and to be honest I'd rather have Smudge between the sticks. Not a big fan of loaned keepers as when they leave you have to start all over agin finding another one.

Don't really get the hype over this kid , other than him being the son of a great keeper , he is nothing like his father.
I watched a couple of City games in the early part of last season when city had a good start and Kasper was clearly the weakest link in the city defence. He looked positively dodgy then hence i am kind of puzzled why he is so highly rated now.

He wants to leave Man City and his Father wants him to go too.
Wouldn't be a bad signing, hes a very good goalkeeper, I'd rather sign him than loan him though.

Yeah from what ive seen he cant command the box at all and is real loose on crosses. *He wouldnt be first choice here so I don't see the point of the loan.

He was an absolute must-buy on Championship Manager 2003, which is how I judge all football players.

    Hope it's not true.

The only reason people think he is good is because of his dad.

    Hecisn't really that good.

IMO it isnt a first choice keeper we need, it is a second choice and for me a keeper like kasper would be perfect for this.

    Nail on the head.

We need a back-up keeper that is happy to be just that. Smith is easily good enough for the Championship and is not that injury prone (touch wood). The most clean sheets in the league last season didn't happen by accident.

Ex-Liverpool keeper Sander Westerveld is looking for a club , might as well get him if you are looking for someone to push Smith.

Highly experienced and at 33 , still young for a keeper.

Smithy might have kept plenty of clean sheets but i put that down to those in front of him. We need someone to replace him not push him.

Poor old Kasper's so bad that his father has made him abandon a couple of letters to disassociate him from his old man then, I presume?

The last I heard, he was still on Coventry's minds for a measly £1m. I think that's a bit too much to be spending on a goalkeeper when the one we have is more than fit for his purpose. Cue dissenting voices...

Rather amusingly, the Cov deal fell through.

Ray Ranson, Coventry City's Walter Mitty sugar-daddy, all but promised Kasper to the fans but then it all went quiet and now it doesn't look like Coventry will be signing him at all.
