    Default Bencheriff

According to This he has been released and is on his way to lincoln ?

Any idea if this is true ? To be fair he has been given to the age of 20 odd, if he was to make it he would of done by now !

I know for a fact that as rumoured on here a few weeks ago, Davies has scrapped the reserve team, and the majority of the players who played in it have been released, i.e. Newbold etc. To be honest, after seeing them play, it is no surprise Davies has made this decision as it was clear these players were never going to make it.

But who will translate for Moussi?

The rest of the team will have to learn French.

I think Hamza, has been here a while now. And will never get the chance really, I think he's alright but not good enough for first team here.

What will happen is that Billy Davies will get rid of all the players he thinks are not good enough; then the Transfer Committee will not be able to replace them and we'll go into next season with 3-4 players.

    Has Gamble gone then?

Shame, I remember talking to Dave Watson (former GK coach) a few years ago and he reckoned he'd go 'all the way'.

So who has gone and who is staying out of the reserve team?

Are the players that broke into the first team squad also being released? I'm thinking along the lines of Moloney, Heath, Byrne, Redmond and Reid. Would be a shame to lose these players and if the reserves are scrapped then they need to find loan clubs at at least league 1 level to prove their worth next year.

Looks like Newbold, Gamble & Bencheriff have joined Dale Roberts in leaving the club then which doesn't seem like a huge loss given the noises coming out of the club at the moment.

This is unfortunately the way of the world. The under 18s need to move up so the likes of Hopkinson, Rodney, Diagne, Darlow etc have room to devleop so everyone roles over and some just fall out of the other side of the bed!

Rodney and Fairlclough and the majority of Under 18's and reserves have signed new contracts.

Is Shane Redmond still here? He's been capped recently by Ireland U21 so must have something about him.

Roberts isn't even a Forest player, he left before Davies even came in.

How is Redmond not as highly rated as Gamble or Roberts, when as Baggio says, Roberts isn't even at the club and Gamble was kept out on loan, while Redmond was recalled and sat on the bench as Smith's replacement at the end of the season.
