    Default Oliver Skipp

19 year old Spurs and England U-21 holding midfielder.

Seems like he's being offered out on loan and we're among the clubs interested according to the Evening Standard.

Would seem like a Watson replacement, I know he's highly rated at Spurs and I think he's captained them throughout youth level.

Seems to think he's got a better shot at playing more often in the Championship too: 'Skipp, who signed a new four-year Spurs contract last week, wants to play regular first-team football at holding midfield and knows he is more likely to do so at a leading Championship club than in the top flight.'

That track makes me crave proper 90's/00's dance tunes.

He looks better playing to this..........

Always sign him in FM20. Does numbers in that B2B role.

Very highly rated by Spurs but won't play for them next year as he's not quite ready. Think Winks MK2.

Decent tactical write up here from a couple of years ago, definitely seems he could take over from Watson and add a bit more mobility to the role:

Haven't seen him play but heard him talked about a lot, he's very highly rated at Spurs. Would be nice for us to use the loan market well for a change.

    Skipp?

Better jump to it if the club wants his signature.

Either us or Fulham. I think we all know which club he goes to and it isnt us I'm afraid, we never win these battles. Just for the record he would be an awesome signing. Him next to Colback would be a good fit.

He might feel that he has a better chance of playing regularly with us rather than Fulham.

It just depends on what his priorities are.

    Never happen.

They'll keep him fairly local if he goes, either lower Prem like Brighton or Fulham if they go up, or one of the relegated Prem teams.

If he goes to Fulham, could that mean Harrison Reed is available from Southampton?

Would he get in Fulhams team? They've some decent CM's and he wants game time.

I wouldn't write off his chances of coming to the champ, depends on what teams can guarantee

A queue for him half way down the street.
Why would Spurs allow him to come to the CG above the rest?

Because those b***ards owe us one for the 1991 FA Cup final.

To compensate for screwing up the Bale transfer

Because of Mourinho's reverence of Cloughie, which inspired him to make a lone, non-matchday pilgrimage to the CG as a young coach in 1996?

Like others, can't see it, I cant imagine defending for his life whilst banging the ball into channels is what Spurs have in mind for his development.

Not sure, sounds like a Mourinho team.
