Bostock coped well against Derby's kids in the cup game earlier in the season.

Interesting that Sabri says "its not necessary to make a lot of changes" so perhaps unchanged or just 1 with a Yates or Sow coming in?

    Good.

Article hints at rotation for either Derby or Fulham though.

Good. Let’s throw everything at getting three points against Bristol and let the other games take care of themselves.

Johnson has been through this sort of slump of results before at Bristol, they stuck with him and things turned around. I'm not sure they will do so again though, and I think Forest can finish him off tomorrow.

However, earlier in the season they looked to be just a striker and a central defender short of having a top 6 side, and I'm sure they thought bringing in Wells was going to sort them out. It's funny how bringing in a player like that can have the opposite effect sometimes by throwing off the balance of a team.

Looking at our run in is scaring the shit out of me. We have to get three points tomorrow. I reckon 3 wins and 3 draws will do!

    Nice.

We should have these. Might be tight, but we can't drop points here.

Might be my age, but I'm getting really nervous and tense before these games. Perhaps it's the possibility that we might actually qualify for the playoffs.

Play to our strengths, play a strong team and we can do it.

I’m strangely the opposite, struggling to get excited at all. I think the break in the season has made everything a bit too surreal.

Felt that way but it's slowly coming back with play-offs in touching distance.

He has to play his strongest side against Bristol. 3 pointa are vital. Derby are looking good and I'd settle for a draw. I think he's learnt from previous do not underestimate the opposition, but stick to the plan and it'll happen.
Bristol will def need to go for it, it's their last chance is a play off possibility

So that means Darikwa is ready? I know cash is brilliant but IF we need cashy to push up, we know have a competent backup instead of Jenkinson lol.

I think we'll play the side but with Yates ahead of Johnson.

    Brice
    Cash Figgy Wozza Tasheiro
    Watson
    Lolleh Yates Silva Ameobi
    Beard

    2-0 to us.

Why? apart from Fulham they are all below us in the league & we’ve already beaten them once (except PNE)

The late goal against Wednesday, coupled with Derby’s result got me back to irritation levels! Now I’m starting to get edgy again.

I still can’t get in to empty stadium football, it takes the gloss off massively.

Id actually throw Dawson in tonight. They have scored the most headed goals in the league and they might try and do a Millwall on us.

I like your thinking but I have no doubts about Worrall and Figgys ability to deal with aerial bombardment

I said before Huddersfield that we were going to give them an absolute hiding - it didn't quite happen as I felt we could have had 5 - but I still think someone is going to be on the receiving end of a cricket score from us - why not tonight?

Would take us to 76 points, which would mean at least one of Preston or Derby needing 19 points from 21 available (ie, 6 wins, 1 draw, 0 losses) - and they play each other tonight. It's not also out of the question that potentially both of them would need to hit those points requirements if Cardiff didn't get 5 wins from their last 6, which they'd need to do to overtake if we got to 76 points).

There's absolutely no requirement for us to win 3 and draw 3. Winning three to take us to 73 points will almost certainly be enough. Winning only two to take us to 70 points might be enough as well, but that sort of points total is going to be coin flip territory on whether it means 6th or 7th.

It does and it is all a bit surreal. Bizarre to think the next time we all attend a Forest game at the CG it could be in the Premiership.
From getting thumped by Millwall (that was the last home game, wasn’t it?) to playing someone like Man Utd.

Assumes we'll be allowed into grounds next year.

Just as likely we'll watch a year in the PL from our TV screens and then our first game we're allowed back to will be against Luton at home in the Championship.
