For me, Paterson will be remembered for trying to tee-up Chris Cohen to score in the former Forest Skipper‘s final match.

That he was playing for Bristol City in that game is clearly irrelevant.

Lee Johnson has rolled the dice in both previous games with quite significant changes to the squad - swapping keepers out, playing Afobe on the left wing etc etc.

Think he's run out of ideas.

There's no games on the red button. Probably be back next season.

History is littered with countless games where we play the team in freefall or planted at the bottom of table and hand over three points meekly.

That's usually the white flag sign from football managers.

Chopping and changing players and formations, searching for a winning formula.

Never looks good when you see that.

Bristol's season is fizzling out. Cardiff, Derby, Blackburn, Swansea, Millwall all more likely to take that final top six spot for different reasons. The fans are turning on the manager, the players look like they are as well.

This should be one of the easier fixtures we have remaining. We must take advantage of it. If WBA drop points we're right in the mix again. If they don't it's 3 more points to securing that top six spot.

    Remember. Reverse psychology works.

We are shit. Everyone is playing badly. Grabban can't finish. Etc.

Especially in a scenario like this where the only chance to work on anything is between the first two games.

    Brilliant.

It's rate though. We should have these without question.

Suspect one or two key players like Grabs might start on the bench to keep them as fresh as poss for the sheep.

Win tomorrow and we are in the realms of potentially only needing one more win, two max, to secure top six. We could be well be 9 points clear with 6 to play if it falls right.

No resting of players for this one. Secure the win, and bring off the likes of Lewis early if possible. Rest the players on Saturday if needbe.

I suspect anyone who does miss out will be fitness question marks, rather than resting. I’m looking at Watson as most likely.

I just hope SL goes with Bostock in that scenario. Silva is more effective further forward.

Agreed. Bostock and AN other, probably Yates - did enough 2nd half against Hudds, to warrant another go around - as the DMs.

Silva surely cant get the call at DM after his first half showing against Huddersfield.

Bostock/Sow would be great, Bostock/Yates if not.
