West Brom have a tough game away to Wednesday, on Wednesday.

We need to go for the throat here - we could be four points off second on Thursday morning.

    Spot on.

Play your best team on Wednesday. See how the dust is settled after, and then play your best team again on the Saturday.

That's not SL's bag though is it? He'll look at the throat from a distance and throw some sprouts at the mouth in the hope that one will get stuck down there.

True - I just meant playing our strongest team!

On the back of my dollar bill it says " In Alf We Trust". Good enough for me.

It's a mistake to look forward only to the next two games. For the next 7 we play every three or four days, so it's as important to look to the last game as much as the next game.

The squad becomes as important as it's ever been; Sabri has a few selection headaches ahead, but he knows what he's doing - I hope!

I was so nervous about the Huddersfield game, but the lads looked up for it (the look on Lewis's face when he scored said it all) and I'm sure they can do it.

They probably won't have the money or be at this level, but a Luton/Barnsley/Wigan would be ideal. He'd be the main man or one of, and they all play decent football and create chances.
Peterborough would be a good move for him, once they sell Toney. A good place for him to go for us too, if we put in a sell-on.

If Bristol lose this one they can probably kiss goodbye to a play-off place.
And if they have a new manager the players are likely to be giving of their best to impress the new boss.
Afobe, Diehou, Wells... all decent strikers.
I have reservations about this one, but if we win we will be well placed to maintain our hold on a play-off place.
I'd be playing our strongest side... if Watson's ankle is ok then he ought to start.

Think Sabri has PTSD from the last time he rested anyone so I'd be expecting a full strength side.

I think it might be wise to cement our top 6 finish sooner rather than later, with the hope that we can rest the key players for the last game or two in readiness for the playoffs. Obviously, it does depend on how other results go.

Entirely. Also, if the three games following Bristol bag us just 3 points then I don't think that's too bad - but it is only 3 points. Got to do everything we can to secure the points against Bristol.

They ship a few goals it seems. 18 in the last 9 games.

Pity we don't score too many of them.

We owe Lee Johnson and Bristol City one. Not been our most successful team we've played against in recent times.

He reckons he is confident of coming here and beating us.

We beat them and they probably sacking him.

Agree, I'm conflicted about my prediction on this one. Ultimately getting the points as early as possible to rest players and keep the pressure off in a tough 4 games which follow is key. I think Bristol feel it slipping away, and they want it too much. It'll be level close to the end and we'll score a winner on the break and crush their dreams. 2-1 Forest.

Trying to think of good things Cotterill can bring. But I just can't take it seriously.

Samba Sow should be involved. Think the only questions will be can Ben Watson start again and does he maybe rotate wingers which I wouldn't.

Wait, so there was no need not to play Watson and Sow against Wednesday and Sow against Huddersfield? Does Sabri know?

Is Paterson still around their first team? He usually has a good few minutes whenever he plays against us.

    Play the best team
    Smash Bristol City
Move on to next game three points nearer to the play offs.

He was on the subs bench Sunday. Sent on in the 89th minute.
