    Default Bruno Paz

A Bola links us with Sporting Lisbon centre-mid (#6/Ben Watson role). 3M Euro + they get 30% sell-on. Brentford and Reading also interested. Debuted for Sporting senior team in December 2018 but missed almost a year of football afterwards through injury and been back playing for Sporting Lisbon's B team.

Looks to be a leader. Both previously with Portugal youth and in this video for Sporting's B team.

Definitely got that Ben Watson style of never being rushed. Plays it at his tempo, seems to make clever little body movements to earn space, keeps an arm out to hold off a player and makes his pass, often forwards.

    Very much what's needed.

Wouldn’t take long before someone put an ‘S’ in front of his surname

We used to have those. With a handy little dispenser, click the top and one pops out.

A Bola says our first offer of 1.5m has been rejected. They want 3m.

Saw another article today saying they will only sell with a 'buy back' clause in the deal.

Seems like with the talk of a buy back and large sell-on % they have a feeling he will succeed.

Out of all those we've been linked to, I think i'm most intrigued/excited by him. Looks to have the composure and quality on the ball to succeed at this level. Considering we're wanting someone to take over from Ben Watson over the next year or so, he has a very similar trait in how he holds on to the ball, uses his arms to keep his space and will release when it's time, not in a rush or cos he's pressured.

3m for a player who's no experience of this league, currently playing at a B-level in a league which hasn't half the challenge of the Championship, and has had a long term injury to boot already.

    Some things never change

As well as looking quite strong, this kid certainly looks like he can play. It's also a positive sign if he's on Brentford's radar, given that club's record in picking up gems.
