That international break seem to last for ages.

Missed this last night as I was out on bar crawl around town, but Blackburn played Leeds.

Year was 1995-96, which surprisingly did not throw up any game at Ewok Park.

Brentford v Wigan Athletic. Warbs hasn't given hope of leading his Brentfica to automatic promotion.

Charlton v Millwall. South London derby. Adding insult to injury for my neighbour who has had to listen to my singing all day.

Four to play. Barnsley look doomed. Top two look up away and clear. Derby seem to be winning every game. This isn't going to plan.

    Millwall 2 Middlesbrough 2
    Birmingham 1 Swansea 2
    Brentford 1 Charlton 2
    Bristol City 1 Hull 1
    Cardiff 3 Blackburn 0
    Leeds 3 Stoke 0
    Luton 0 Barnsley 0
    Forest 1 Fulham 1
    Reading 2 Huddersfield
    Sheff Weds 1 Preston 0
    West Brom 1 Derby 2
    Wigan 2 QPR 1

After a glorious first three days to the bank holiday weekend, it got a bit a cold on Monday. Nobody wanted to go to football. Clubs met to discuss what to do about the Easter Monday schedule in scenes of an unprecedented nature. Middlesbrough, Derby and Hull were in favour of playing the games behind closed doors arguing it would make no difference. In the end common sense prevailed and Monday and Tuesday's fixtures were pushed back to Wednesday morning when the sun was out.

    WEDNESDAY 15TH APRIL

Barnsley v Wigan: Barnsley look to be drinking in Last Chance Saloon.

Blackburn v West Brom: Baggies second attempt at clinching automatic promotion.
