Nah...we can't do that. It would inconvenience way too many rich and powerful folks.

I once saw 'Shadow' from the Gladiators checking out a new pair of cargo pants in the mirror in Selfridges. He stood there for a good two minutes admiring himself from every angle before turning to the shop assistant and saying 'I'll take em. They make me look...powerful'.

Some branches of IKEA have opened today, with people queuing from 5.40 for a 9.00 store opening. WTF!!!

Anyway, see if you can spot Barry waiting patiently for his meatballs.

    Interesting.
Not sure how that affects me working in other people’s houses?

    Edit: Found this
Tradespeople can continue to carry out work in homes if the residents are not self-isolating. This means that all residents of the household must be displaying no symptoms of the virus before a tradesperson can enter. Additionally, the worker should continue to remain at least 2 meters apart from the residents of the household.
Seems a bit of a u-turn after announcing up to six people can meet from today.

Someone just told me it's only if they are staying there. Still can't police it though.
Friend of mine has been staying with her daughter and grandkids since this all kicked off. She was getting a bit panicky thinking she'd have to move out and go back and live on her own.
She's stuck rigidly to the rules up to now, I've told her to ignore it.

In positive coronavirus news, no death in Spain today and four companies maintain that they will have a vaccine ready by October.

In positive coronavirus news of a more local nature, the expected post-quarantine spike in Greece never happened. The pandemic is essentially over, with only a couple of new cases per day, and the number of people still intubated decreasing daily (12 left). Most of the dedicated to the virus hospital wards have switched back to normal hospital activities.

Chavs with nothing better to do are clogging up the trams. NET's plan to enforce social distancing is a joke.

There needs to be a conductor wearing proper PPE filtering out the non essential travel. Did a 12 hour shift in the office today and having to stand near two men coughing on the tram isn't how I want it end

So the 'Joint Biosecurity Center' that is in charge of setting the alert level that will determine when things are safe to unwind the lockdown

    It doesn't exist yet!

The government are just bullshitting when they say "we are transitioning between 4 and 3" because there is no body in place to evaluate the alert level.

Just another day in Covid19 Britain, just another government blag.

the force is strong in this one: "It has been fantastic so far but what you can and must do next will be amazing for the rest of your lives."

Saw this article today. Some doctors in Madrid, one of the hardest hit regions, say that the virus doesn't clinically exist anymore.

This goes back to the idea that it is burning itself out.
