I had to go for a little shopping today, went out for the first time in a week or so, that was weird, it's quite now, very quiet. Yes, of course, there are cars on the streets, but otherwise it's quiet, only at time like this you realise that there's a constant buzz in the background which becomes obvious only when it's not there - a buzz made by cars and people, it was really strange being the only person on the street and not hearing any words from anyone else.

This short video shows empty Wrocław, it's an eerie sight, all those streets that are usually packed with cars and people. The city doesn't move anymore, it's a slumber from which we will all wake up soon, there's some strange beauty in it but I'm missing all this noise and life.

Probably but on the other hand the Japanese exercise social distancing since the day they born, wearing masks like shoes especially when ill, never shake hands, they bow, they are cleaning freaks. So I wonder how the fuck they have even one case there.

The ratio of deaths to recovered is a real problem. It shows a very very bad projection and a serious lack of testings

In the afternoon there were about 38 thousand cases reported in the US, now they're on 63 thousand, that's some serious acceleration.

Yeah, it’s looking pretty grim for the States. Reckon they could end up with the steepest curve out of all effected countries.

UK? Beeb has it at 43.
Big increase in infections though, up by 1,452 to 9,529.

I went to the corner shop tonight, we were running out of a few bits.
The Asian lad in there had disposable gloves on but no mask, cant buy one from anywhere. Felt sorry for him, he’s a lovely lad and should have everything he needs for exposing himself.
He got me some bog roll out the back as well as I’m a regular. The Asians are a great bunch of lads.

No, it’s 1.65% dead against 5.6% hospitalised. Not taking into account not tested

It's okay, we're all going back to work in 2 weeks. The genius in charge thinks Easter is good as it's a "beautiful day" the asshat has gone beyond a joke and is outright endangering lives to protect his precious economy which is all he has to run on.

    The answer will be, „Gai-Jin!“

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

Roads have been quiet this week pulled off the northbound junction 27 at 4 yesterday evening and not a single car was there queuing. All my journey times up and down the M1 and A42 have been loads quicker than normal.

There's a massive unknown outcome column to take into consideration though, the mortality rate will be much higher than that I predict.

I drove eastbound over Clifton Bridge at 4.50 yesterday and didn't even have to slow down. There was still one **** who had to go steaming down the outside and cut someone up just before it went single lane though.

    https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/...n-america.html

128 million vs 14 million infected, 10 million dead vs a few thousand, yes, totally worth 'restarting the economy' on Easter.

Even this whole 'relief bill' is shady as fuck, yes, the corporations cannot use the funds to buy their own shares like they do now to make shareholders happy - unless Mnuchin says they can He doesn't even need a reason, he can just let them do it.

I drove in to work last couple of days about 05:30 and surprisingly the roads were just as busy as they are normally. But my journey home usually mid afternoon has been much quieter.

Went to Asda last night for a few bits and was expecting queues, bloodshed and general disappointment. However it was very quiet, I got most things we needed. Still no bog roll, wipes, flour, chicken. Managed to get asda’s Version of calpol. Everything else was back on the shelves though including beer!

I went to the supermarket and there were few people there. I was able to get everything I needed except eggs.

In other news, my nephew tells me that a young woman he knows had a house party last night, and there were so many people there she didn’t know them all.

Yeah I couldn’t get eggs. Had a bit of steak out the freezer and couldn’t have eggs with it. Now this thing is really impacting on my life
