Look at that list of names and ask yourself why the charges against PSG were dropped.

This ban will probably help City win the Champions League this season. Focus a few minds. They certainly ought to have done better in Europe than they have. A burning sense of injustice can work wonders.

A few players will have notified their agents to keep a close eye on the situation. Players like de Bruyne, Bernado Silva, Laporte, etc....won't love the idea of playing in their prime at a club banned from Europe.

Watched City v West Ham for a few minutes last night.

Megson happened at Forest when I was watching us regularly and I vividly remember losing 6-0 at Ipswich where Meggo employed the 8-2-0 system.

Last night David Moyes took a leaf out of that book by employing the 6-4-0 system apparently in order to protect their goal difference in case that matters in the relegation fight.

Souness: "I think it's cruel on City. FFP was set up by the big clubs to protect themselves. There's a cabal of maybe 8 clubs in Europe that got behind this & said we're the big guys, let's bring a rule to stop Man City outspending. There's a lot of jealousy attached to this."

Did Sterling really pose for a photo for a Spanish magazine with a Madrid short draped over his shoulder this week?

Ha. Jeez. Not wasting any time.

For all their recent chelping about being scapegoated by UEFA and being locked-out of the Champions‘ League by a cartel of „top clubs“, it seems Manchester City have a rather unsavoury historical record of being wrong ‘uns, in financial matters:

I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

It has been reported that Sheik What ever, owner of Man City, has already promised £30 million, and is in the process of appointing 50 top lawyers, to fight the ban.

How will Forest ever win a champions league again? That should be the acid test can a side like forest ever win the champions league again. For me that will never happen and that’s because the big sides have monopolised everything.

Then will UEFA still want the holders banned?

Hate to break this to you, but they won't.

But on the bright side that has absolutely nothing to do with this ban on Man City playing in the competition.
