Gomis was fine that game lol.
Gomis looked as if he'd never played football before. Never played for us again and only played a handful of games in his brief professional career. We can all agree Abdoun was amazing that day. Remember him tearing strips off Mackie walking off at half time for missing a sitter after Abdoun set him up.

Big Kev was alright that game, got booked straight away but after that settled and did well. Abdoun had his one good game and we sang "it is what it is" to Billy who never acknowledged the fans despite having to walk by them.

Des Walker was downright awful when he first start. All over the shop and bloody indecisive.
But look what Cloughie turned him into.

Pascolos debut was at Port Vale (1:0). And played at least 5 league matches that season 97/98.

Same could be said for a couple of other centre-halves: Lascelles, Morgan, even Worrall.
All given full debuts on the back of progress made in the U23s and at international level (albeit "junior" levels).
    All looked wobbly and struggled.
All have developed into top-class players.

Anyone mentioned Lars? The touch of a sledgehammer.

I remember banking on 20 goals a season from him, had to reduce that after watching him play like a competition winner.

Can’t remember Millers debut, but what an absolute waste of space.

    Lars Veldwijk.

Who was that other striker under Fawaz, nicknamed „The Terrorist“? Bounced one fluke off his knee and that was it?

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

Djebbour? If he was here now we'd have never played him and sold him for a million profit.

My God we've had a load of dross through the years.

If I remember correctly, The Terrorist didn't bounce it in of his knee.
I think it went in off his arse.
    I may be wrong...

I think he made a few sub appearances around the time Howe & McGregor were breaking through?...as a wee nipper I got very excited when Clark started throwing them on, but in real terms it was probably only McGregor who was quality.

He was on the bench several times, but only got on the pitch once.

His reputation came from being a goal-machine in the reserves, where he had a ridiculous record of something like 2 goals every 3 games.

Saw him score for England schoolboys at Wembley, so thought he might be good.

I would say real parody on footballer was Eugene Dadi. I am not sure if he ever played in Forest starting 11. Probably not.

Yep coach at the time said "a real strikers goal, we'll take them from anywhere".

But it was his arse. Clearly a man shall be known by his actions.

Having said that Tyson scored a beauty arse goal, was it against Swansea in the play offs - something like that.

His brown eye cracker was a wonder to behold.

Me too. A mate who I went with hasn't been to a Forest match since.
