It's clear that Sabri is after more technical players and this guys looks to fit the bill.

Whilst Carvalho's arguable talent is visible in flashes (far too intermittent in my opinion), he's show little of the hard working, team focused ethic which is why I suspect he's not figured as much under Sabri.
This new bloke sounds like he works hard, and he looks talented, so let's give him a shot.

I thought 'Farid Boulaya' was some of the lyrics from Bohemian Rhapsody?

    Looks like another Lamouchi/Anigo/Modesto choice.

    Skillful.

I think Lamouchi wants someone with a bit of magic to break down teams at home.

A polite tweitter message by a Metz fan to the manager, illustrating how badly the fans want Boulaya to play:

Toi sale fils de pute si t’allig’e pas boulaya ā gauche jvai vrmt venir t’enculer ta grand mere avec ta gueule on dirai un buisson fils de pute

Sexual attack and asses are also involved, but he's too creative in his swearing for my French to fully understand him.

Really hope we can get this one done.

    He looks an exciting prospect.

    That’s too polite a translation.

“Son of a whore” screams out at me.

Every time I see people getting excited by any type of highlights reel I always think of this, and remember they mean jack shit.

That's not even the biggest Dadi moment on Youtube

Remember how slow Dadi looked in a Forest shirt? This goal was scored five years after he left the City Ground...

Can you imagine having that ability and then turning up to work to find Megson is your new boss. 'You can do your bicycle kicks when you've learned how to track back and defend at corners'

Falls over twice in the first 2 clips, I'm sure the physical game in the championship will suit him "to the ground"

    Looks very skillful:

I'm almost certain he scores past Brice in that highlights reel.

Was very good last season by all accounts, was voted in the Ligue 2 team of the year.

From the video, it looks like he can play across the the width of the pitch and has two decent feet.

Are you saying that he only passes sideways?

All gone quite after being very strongly linked.

Was hoping for this one personally.

Fingers crossed it might be a last minute surprise...

Same here. I like the sound of this one and reckon he'd do well here. Boulaya and a quality centre midfielder would see a good transfer window turn into an excellent one.
