Calling him a nobody is a bit unfair Keith.
20 year old England under age player, on the books of Arsenal and Barcelona.
He may turn out to be a dud, but he is young with an excellent pedigree.

Worth a punt in my opinion.

If I understand correctly, Taylor says this is happening, that it will be a buy and not a loan, and that he will play for the U23 initially. It's a transfer for next year.

I don't think the top part of that tweet (the bit about the clearance) is talking about Marcus. It appears to be talking about an under 18 year old and then mentions Marcus in the next paragraph.... Telstar wanting compensation before an agreement can be made.

Just been reading up on this fella. Impressive CV! First Englishman to play for Barca since old jug ears himself. I remember seeing the articles at the time.

Our ex-Barca signing Roger Rieira didn’t do very much so let’s hope this guy is more influential.

It does seem footballers in this mould are incredibly versatile across many different tactical systems, so he could prove to be an asset over the long term.

    Let’s hope he’s more Cohen than Bostock/Bastians/Bopp.

This says that it's all agreed between all sides, paperwork pending.

Both Arsenal & Barcalona must seen something in him.
    little risk, possible high reward.

He's a Defensive Midfielder right? Cover for Watson?

Probably won't see him play this season if he signs. One for the U23s seemingly.

It looks to me that he prefers to be more box-to-box than a CDM type.

Agree it looks like more of a u23 move though.

If you could design an 8, he'd probably look like him stylistically. Looks to have a bit of that Barkley/McGugan about him (obviously hugely different levels). But just that natural powerful strike from a strong core, can set his body to strike both footed well. Sort you want arriving late on the edge.

If it all translates, who knows.

Looks like a strong lad who shouldn’t be intimidated by Championship hackers.

He may not be good enough for Barcelona but could blossom for us . Time will tell, but we need to trust our recruiters who know a damn sight more than the majority of posters on here.

More chance of Meghan Markle, who will fit right in at Forest as she's used to balding gingers probing around the box.

„Oh....Meghan is a Yankee, she wears a tatty Stetson, and when she’s shagging Harry, she dreams of Benny Watson!“
