IIRC we didn't get a penalty until February on e year...
We'll get one when we get in box a bit more.

True, but in balance, the lads on the International Space Station must be mightily relieved, as there’s significantly less chance of one of them being hit by an errant Grabban penalty whilst taking a spacewalk?

I can see us doing a Fulham.....where we score early......and then score another just after halftime.....2-1 to the famous team.

I think the hysteria(possibly over-egging that a bit, but what the hell) of getting a penalty will be negated by missing it.

Good God, roll on 3pm on Saturday.

It's bad enough having yet another "International Break", but add in the two sad twats debating on the telly tonight, Brexit bullshit and general polical crap dominating the news, I just want a tiny bit of normality to return to my life.

Cannot wait for this, having only made a handful of games so far this season.

Not sure whether I've already made a prediction, but a solid 1-2 away win would be lovely, a Joe Lolley thunderbolt would be lovely.

My own take on the election is to ignore everything at party level, examine as much as possible put out by local candidates, and vote on a purely local level for the candidate I think will do best for the constituency irrespective of party.
The rest is all lies, spin, and not worthy of me giving it any of my valuable time.
As for Saturday: I'd willingly take a draw at this point

    Robins assistant Dean Holden.

“You’d have to say that up to now, he’s doing a very good job,” Holden told Bristol Live. “They’ve had a turnaround of managers in the last few years.

“It was such a huge football club when I was growing up; massive football club.

“They seem at the moment like they’re in a good place.

“They’re one place above us in the league, obviously on the same amount of points, but they’ve had a good start to the season.

“They’ve got some real attacking intent in those forward areas, certainly with (Lewis) Grabban, who’s a proven goalscorer.

“They’re a team that we can’t take lightly at the weekend.

“But like any team, we’ve studied them hard in this enforced break we’ve had and we feel that we’re ready for them.”

“It’s always a team effort,” Holden added. “I’ve watched them in the last few games. I watched the Derby game.

“The strength in depth they’ve got across the squad and some real experience in there - they’ve got some young talent in there in (Ryan) Yates and Matty Cash.

“(Joe) Lolley on his left foot is a dangerous player as well.

“We’ve got to be on our guard against them.”

Don't you worry, Dean, we've studied you lot, too. And we're ready.

Probably be a 0-0 draw, then.

Would be pleased to get anything from this one.

A win and it's game on.

It would be a great idea to start with a much-changed line-up, different formation, rest Grabban and Lolley and let Mir lead the line.
That'll fool 'em... and I can't see any flaws in this strategy!

They are basically in the top 6, and our record away to top 6 sides in the last 2 seasons has been amazing. I think it's only Sheffield Utd last year when our season was done have we lost.

Get your money on a 1-0 Grabban victory.

    But they even themselves out.
Which means we'll also get one turned down at the next home game as well.

Do I understand correctly that Dawson, Semedo, Benalouane, Jenkinson and Hefele now train regularly with the team and are available for selection? If so, this means that you're only missing Sow, right?

Bit of a politico m'self (across da pond version) but I must say it's exhausting and debilitating.
Footie has been sorely missed this last fortnight.

And there is a million threads elsewhere for political chat. I reckon we're going to wallop this lot, we've been due 3 or 4 in a game for a while now...Silva to get a well deserved goal too

Still not had my tickets arrive in the post, not a biggie as contacted ticket office yesterday and I can get reprints at the away ticket hut.

Just wondered if anyone else had issues trying to get their tickets via the post?

I have twice over the last few months had tickets which never arrived. I don't trust them at the ticket office anymore so I collect them instead.
