"Oi drove my tractor thru yur haystack last night" is a thinly disguised euphemistic line, full of sexual innuendo.
As the old joke goes: "What's the difference between a Massey Ferguson tractor and a man who has fathered 30 children?".
Answer: The tractor has hydraulics, and the father has dry bollox.
    Bah-dum-tish!

Now for the game... I've gone for a Forest victory.
3 points against Brizzle, followed by a draw at QPR and then a home win versus Cardiff will be an excellent return.
We haven't a good record at Ashton Gate.
But that was then and this is now!!!

    Thinly disguised?

It couldn’t have been more blatant if the entire ensemble of The Wurzels had whipped out their todgers on Top of the Pops and shouted „have a go on that, moi lovely!“

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

I'd take a point there all day long. It's another one for us and takes two from a play off contender.

Brizzle are a well drilled side these days and pose a threat going forward. Tough game this so any point here is a good one.

A draw would be fantastic, get to Jan relatively unscathed and then BOOOOOM, quality signings.

Need to keep in the top 6 or Sabbers will be under pressure. Tough game, fancy Yates to pop up with the winner

Let's not do a Wigan and see Mir in for Grabban as per the last international break return. Hopefully that lesson has been learnt.

As well as Figgy and Yates have played in the last few matches, a return of Daws and Sow can only strengthen the defense so fingers crossed they are ready to return.

I'd also see a point as a good return, but we have beaten better on the road already...................

One of the reassuring qualities about Sabri is he clearly learns from his mistakes. He's still new to the club, the country and the league so he's bound to drop the odd clanger. It's fantastic that he makes so few but when he does he changes it without hesitation.

On 2nd thoughts, when was the last time we did something good for The Gas? November is a month we do good things for others, so a win here would make many a Bristol Rovers fan happy.

Voted for a win, keeping up with the new Nottingham Forest confidence, the old Forest would be a bolt on loss to Bristol COYR

Just seen that Luton pumped them 3-0 a few matches ago. I suddenly feel a bit more confident now.

I'm hoping to see Dawson back in for Figueiredo and possibly Sow back on the bench for a run-out.

    Forest 3-1

Can't beat a good pair of Bristols. And I don't mean Rovers or City.

Previous seasons we would have capitulated against the brizzle on whatever run we had, we had a team of bottlers for sure, could'nt take any pressure, weak, not up for the fight.

Different now, we have a team that gives a fuck, and can play. Draw away, that's a good result

    Can't wait for this.

    https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/182/...d-Bristol-City

Afobe out for the season and Hunt/Da Silva are injured or recovering from injury.

So we can expect a 3-5-2 from them.

    Bentley
    Kalas Williams Baker
    Perreira Bronwnhill Nagy O'Dowda Rowe
    Weimann Watkins

    Bench
    DF: Moore
    MF : Palmer & Massengo
FWD : Rodri, Eliasson, Semenyo (Diedhiou not involved last time)

Wingers as the forwards through the middle so they will look to run and stretch our defence.

If we can use our strength of attacking down the sides and get in behind their wing backs I think they struggling.

Not sure about the formation. He prefers to set up based on the opposition, and has played a variety of formations so far this season.

When Da Silva got injured they didn't have a left-back so they have been playing a winger in Rowe as a wing-back for the majority of the season.

At least we aren't dictated to like that anymore. We fairly well covered.

2 tricky away days coming up starting with this one. Let's hope we continue to beat the decent teams and don't stutter like we did post the last break.

I'd start Sow and Daws if 100%. 1-0 win if they are.

Aye. Although our away form is cracking tbf.

Real key period for us this. Hold it together until the window opens and we'll really be set to push on. Just need to catch a few breaks here & there to make sure our noses stay in front.

I'm going to predict that't we'll have yet another stonewall penalty shout turned down, to add to the collection.

We're in the middle of November and we still haven't had a penalty. FFS.

It was like this a couple of seasons ago wasn't it?

    Grabban must be annoyed!
