That's one of the very few times I've seen supporters get inside a players head and completely throw them off their game.

I think the last time was Marlon King when both sets of supporters chanted "she said Marlon, she said no" that completely messed him up.

Yeah, Britt is still the benchmark there.

A competent player who was absolutely psychologically destroyed by barracking from the crowd.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

A rare trip to the WFCG for the wife, the girls and myself. And the men in red didn't disappoint either. My plan to get my daughters hooked on Forest before they bugger off to uni seems to be working too!

Was blown away by the remembrance tribute in the Trent End as well, we're lucky to have a set of fans like we do.

    YOU REDS!

EFL Team of the Week. Could have put 11 Red men there.

When they do that „Team of the Year“, they may as well just give Matthew Cash the Right Back shirt now and be done with it.

We had to hang on to the big banners!

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

An additional nice touch from Forza to invite serving and ex forces personal to hold those banners at the front. Shame they had to be hidden behind them for the display.

We're a team again. At long, long last we're actually a team again.

    Let it last

Tbf we say that every season, same as we day "we'd of lost that last year".

It's always the same until we lose a few then the manager has lost the dressing room, the players are lazy/don't care etc.

It def feels different this time. Far fom the finished article, but with teamspirit like this, It'll make a real difference come the end of the season.

Also, we will have an outstanding midfield- Samba Sow, Ben Watson, Tiago Silva.

    Fair point!

I think the team spirit it evident this year though, but yeah, only backbone from the top down will galvanize & make the most of that. Another shithouse sacking & bottle job will wreck it all again.

I do think Mouch's team seems more together than a lot in recent years though. Thought we were organized last year, but AK's "put in or you're out" philosophy never had us more of an ambitious bunch of mercs with the likes of Geddy, Yacob, etc.

Whilst I rate Warbs, team unity & grit isn't something I'd have down as a strength of his.

MON was probably the perfect manager to prelude Mouch. The right shift from AK's merc approach to a more together one.

I don't think we have said "of" when the correct word is "have".
But I agree with the sentiment -so many games already where we have secured the points would have finished up with us losing last season.

We say that aswell, last year when we went 5-4 down at Villa with 10 men everyone said this, and last season we had Lolley and JC in form as well as Colback and Yacob.

I agree, but as I said a few losses and if heads drop, the same things will be being said.

If they don't go through that extended lull like we normally do and heaven forbid we stay top 6 then it may actually be different this year

To me this I only proven true if we do lose 3-4 in a short space of time and we pull ourselves out of it, or we never have a spell like that (the 2 losses we had in a row is fairly normal for any team in this division)

Aye, we were 5th at the beginning of December last year.

What we have to avoid is the annual NFFC Christmas wheels falling off festival. It’s hard for any team to pull themselves out of a run of 4 losses. We’ve already pulled ourselves out of 2 in a row.

We’ve played a third of the season, so still a way to go, but it does look like we’ve built on last season rather than ripping it up and starting again. We’ve gone up a notch.

To me we seem more well polished and flexible than last year.

In my opinion what killed us last year was the lack of depth & overreliance on Lolley, don't think we have either of those problems this year.

As always time will tell but we look better and have a better structure in place.

I'm with you in the hope stakes chaps but I've heard it all before.

I think we look for different positives to cling to that's all. Nothing wrong in that btw.
