Obviously impossible but what it does prove is that MON and SM went to watch him and obviously recommended we signed him. The club clearly continued the pursuit afterwards.

It's pretty impossible to dispute that in light of the facts.

How odd Otis, you seem to be telling us to accept an NEP Tweet as hard evidence

I blame Martin O'Neill for international breaks.

It's also possible O'Neill was told Forest we can get this goalkeeper. O'Neill who may have never even heard of him at the point, says ok we'll go and take a look. And then he's sacked before the club sign Muric. In which case him being at a Kosovo game would not prove that Muric was a keeper he had identified.

    But more importantly, who cares?

It is, of course, your prerogative to dispute that it is O'Neill in that photograph Alf, although I'm pretty certain that it is him. I will concede however that there is no evidence in the photo to confirm that it was definitely taken in Kosovo.

That said, what would a Bulgarian journalist have to gain from claiming that the photo was taken in Kosovo if in reality it wasn't?

But how can you be so certain? Things like that are easily Photoshopped nowadays. Taylor could have paid some artistic Wiz like myself to create a mock image.

I'm very tech-unsavvy (my grandkids leave me standing), so I bow to your greater knowledge of such matters Alf. My only reply to you is to ask (again) what would be gained from doing that?

In comp with Leverkusen and Leipzig. Reported in La Provence first and then all the big French newspapers joined in.

    Was reported earlier this month:

SL was in Marseilles during the international break too so might be something in this.

Anigo has been consistently scouting French youth in Marseille these past few weeks. According to the Greek press, these are his suggestions for Olympiacos. Given that their age and talent make their move from the French League to the Greek one highly unlikely in my opinion, I mention them in case they become Forest targets:

    - Simon Ngapandouetnbu (what a name!), goalkeeper from Cameroon, aged 16, but already with a professional contract and the third choice in the first team of Marseille. The next Brice Samba?

    - Richecard Richard, aged 17, international with France U17, right back, belongs to Marseille.

    - Christopher Rocchia, aged 21, left back, belongs to (and was born in) Marseille, on loan to Sochaux (ligue 2).

    - Isaac Lihadji, another Marseille-bred player, right winger, aged 17, international with France U16, U17, U18, already a player of the first team, and the most unlikely case. He seems very talented on available videos, and there is reported interest from Barcelona and Dortmund.

He'll have his eye on the French second division, Few young lads leading the scoring over there one of whom, Sissoko, we've already been linked to.

Tino Kadewere - 23 yo Zimbabwean on 18 goals and 4 assists from 23 games for Le Havre this season.

Adrian Grbic - 23 yo Austrian on 12 goals and an assist in 22 games for Clermont Foot.

Yoane Wissa - 23 yo French on 12 goals and an assist in 19 games for Lorient, this lad is more of a winger and Bristol City are supposedly preparing a bid for January.

And Ibrahim Sissoko - 24 yo French on 9 goals and an assist in 18 games for Niort.

I fully expect at least one or two from France in January, considering we signed a couple from there in the summer (Samba and Bostock) and we were linked with quite a few others.

I'd say that's quite likely. We've been linked with a few wingers in France since he's been involved at Forest, if I remember correctly.

Let's hope he finds us a couple of diamonds in the rough.

Some of that raw pace, power and athleticism of French African's would be ideal for us. Obviously coupled with genuine talent...
