I have never understood the role of Anigo at Olympiacos, so I cannot presume to understand what his role at Forest will be. He's not exactly a scouter, more like a facilitator of transfers.

Say thanks to Uncle Jose for Valbuena.

His past as either a coach/technical director/scout at Marseille has good reading to it. Been involved with or in Didier Drogba, Matheu Valbuena, Franck Ribery, Samir Nasri, Nikolas Nkoulou, Matheu Flamini & Steve Mandanda.

Someone like Maxime Lopez who came through the Marseille academy and knew very well and supposedly knew his uncle. He was set to sign for Liverpool at 16 but convinced him to stay.

    Loves African talent doesn't he : https://trueafrica.co/article/marsei...be-for-africa/

I know, that's why I called him a facilitator of transfers.

Good to have these type of people in our ranks.

Much better than the Fawaz recruits and Billy’s dodgy mates.

I prefer viewing him as the guy who knows a guy.

    For transfers of course...

Nothing has changed. Marseille fans still thinking he is shite. Who knows why (obviously taking into account his semi-Gangster past or his sons) but I think his football past shows he can do a few things right and maybe with reliable Francois and reliable Sabri we have the perfect match.

I've seen Frenchmen on Twitter say Lamouchi is shit after his MOTM award. I'm sure Forest fans will have done the same to QPR fans regarding Warburton who look rather silly now. Football is not black and white, it's full of equations that make a formula. Some times you get the formula right, some times you don't. It appears we have an ownership now that is introducing the right elements now for our equation to work.

According to reports in Greece he has been on a tour of France the last couple of weeks - not just for Forest but also for Olympiakos.

So I don't think we can assume he was speaking to that Marseille youngster for us.

Interesting piece from Anigo on roles and responsibilities here. It appears recruitment falls squarely on his shoulders.

I like the fact that he's doing the job he's being paid to do and will probably get fired if he mucks up.

    Sounds about right.

That was an O'Neill's signing. Anigo's and Modesto's choice has turned up somewhat better.

    O'Neill signed him?
28th June Martin gets the tin tack.
    9th July Muric signs.
