Draw at worst; win afor us at best.
I don't know, I quite liked them under Martinez and those crazy runs of winning as the seasons neared their end.

    Could we? Should we?

Keep teasing me Forest. You know I lap it up.

Draw. Just to keep me at just the right level of arousal.

8-8 then, with four goals in the last 10 mins.... prick teasers.

I predict a loss then going on another 10 game unbeaten run, following the same pattern until we reach the prem.

Not bad from Lolley considering he's had a so called poor start to the season.

They had a very attractive team under Martinez, and of course won the FA Cup during his time.

I wonder who scored the winning goal.

Crap club that couldn't even fill their ground when they were in the top flight.

I'd happily see them in league 2 where they belong.

To be fair it’s a fairly small town, mainly a rugby town, not the most affluent place and they compete with the two big Manchester clubs and the two big Liverpool clubs.

So did Bolton and Blackburn that have proper football heritage. Wigan are nowt, they should be playing Mansfield on a regular basis.

Apparently Danny Fox is currently out of favour. That reduces our chances of giving them a thrashing.

Seems Wigan have come out of some really shit form to bag a couple of decent home wins on the spin. Always felt like a bogey ground Wigan, reckon itll be different this time round.

Pretty sure Cooks teams like to give themselves a footballing chance in games, plays nicely into our hands, I see another Lamouchi away day masterclass. Sows a worry, Id have Semedo on standby for the role.

    Wigan 0 - Forest 2

Bolton is far bigger. Bolton and Blackburn have a history and tradition of football. Teams like Wigan can’t win. If they suddenly get 25k they are glory supporters. If they don’t they are a crap club. I don’t have anything against them as their fans always seem down to earth and it’s a good cheap away day.

You could argue Blackpool are historically bigger than all three as well, but they’ve had their own recent troubles, caused by bad ownership.

When you consider the concentration of clubs in that area - Preston North End are thereabouts as well, it’s more impressive that the area is sustaining so many clubs.

But there’s also the recent case of Bury, who’ve probably been harmed by their proximity to all these same clubs, much like Stockport County were.

If the ball is kicked into the stand, a spectator catches it and throws it to the player who takes the throwing, giving to another player who turns, shoots and scores....

....does the spectator get on the 'secondary assist' list?

    Only fair, isn't it?

Strange question. If it was, hardly something to make a song and dance about is it.

I think this is comfortably the toughest match of these 5 until the next international break, a point with a good attacking performance and I'll be happy.

Wigan at home are a very good Championship side, lost 5 of 28 games since promotion. It's the 12 points from 29 away games that leaves them as relegation contenders each season. If we manage to win this one I'll start to get excited.

Tight match with lots of strong play from Forest that ends up 1-0 from a Ben Watson header in the 91st minute

Really tough match this and arguably up there with Leeds, Swansea and Fulham albeit with different problems presenting the difficulty.
