Hope he's robust enough and tackles like a right Barista

According to his team mates he's full of beans and doesn't mind the grind in training.

Apparently in the Mail this morning we've enquired about Steve Mounie also at Huddersfield. Had a look online and can't find anything about the story, dunno if it was just in the actual paper.

He'd definitely be a different option up front, not a prolific goalscorer but a big, strong handful at 6'3. Be a bit surprising because he's been back in the team at Hudds recently.

Sell on fee is usually a percentage on any profit though, can't see him moving for more than Boro paid us.

Hoping we'll stop percolating on purchasing a striker soon

Lolley, Cash, Mounie... How many other financially named players can this club afford?

I hope we only bring one striker in. Think 2 would be a waste of money personally.

Nuno Da Costa may well be on the move somewhere from Strasbourg, as they've signed Majeed Waris. He looks like a busy kind of player, fairly decent pace and movement. Perhaps slightly awkward style.

Looks like someone who'd be better in a 2 rather than a lone striker though.

Perhaps we need to bring ex-Doncaster manager Dave Penney to the club in some sort of role. Sadly we've missed out on the signing of Scott Banks to Crystal Palace today.

Just sign a couple of Czechs and we'll be sorted.

I said at the start of the window this window defines our season and tonight showed that. Pull the trigger, this season is there for the taking. Let’s go for it!

You need another winger from the top shelf. The new fast kid can battle with Ameobi for the bencher winger place if he's any good, but you need a top class partner for Lolley.

I don't know how the relationship has been 'left' but I would have Britt back tomorrow. We are only a Grabban injury away from our season being over and basically relying on a 33 year old to make it through until May without taking a knock or running out of steam.

And if it doesn’t work and ffp does us? Could set us back years. It was there for the taking last season just like it is this season and will be next. The championship is a tough league which any team can beat anyone on there day. I don’t agree with ‘taking a risk’ if it could effect the next 2-3 seasons

This has a feeling of (yet another) bomb squad stoker who turns up, plays 2 games, gets injured and is never seen or heard from again.

We've had too many of these over the years.

We are in an extremely strong position. Possibly the best position we have been in over the last 20 or so years. We've got to go for it. There is no guarantee the league will be so open next season. Yes, it could all end in tears, but it could also end with promotion.
