i read sometimes the wages of the championship players and i am shocked. 30-50K per week is outrageous but looks normal! ffs.

Just a thought, but that might not be your wisest choice of a contribution to this forum.

The money we got for appiah (what has he done in Spain?) has probably bought silva, Samba, Ribeiro, sow, Chema. Maybe with a bit of change left over.

    Not funny.

ĄI believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialismď

I never "claimed" or "lied" about any such thing.

It's normal these days for the club to keep its transfer affairs in-house for, at the most, 48-hours, when any pending deal is usually revealed by a foreign news outlet.

Still two whole weeks to go (I think). Time to sign oodles of players and still have change for a pint.

I hope it drags on and on so we can read more incisive comments from our very good friend, Mr M.Forest 89.

Been a lot of activity, but the only real deal I can think of that I'm a bit envious of is the Ryan Woods one.

I’m no longer going to moan about transfers. Not until the end of the window anyway or until we sign someone and I’ll give my opinion on them.

    No point.

We all already know what you are going to say.

I'd save yourself the effort of typing it if I were you.

Like I’ve said, sign players who we know can come here and hit the ground running and I’ll be happy. Sign players who don’t know this league and have a questionable playing record and I won’t be happy. January isn’t for potential. Anyway, that’s all I’ll say on the matter.

Its getting a little tedious now isnít it.

    Forest linked with a player
Leeds linked with the same player
Both teams have had a set back in signing said player.
    Repeat.

Iíd like to know how many of said players we are actually interested in if any.

We have a good stable team challenging at the right end of the table, perhaps we should be grateful and accept that. Anything else is a bonus. Most seasons are dead by now.

We all know where we are weak and Iím sure the right people do too.....can imagine itís not a simple task.

I'm prone to overreacting now and again but this window is playing out like the past 3 January windows. Everyone waits until the final week. I bet more moves get done on the final day then the entirety of the whole month.

Once the premiership does their business the lower leagues usually pick up the scraps and the trimmed fat.

Would have been nice to get some bodies in for this next run of games, but looks unlikely now.

Still, fate might be kind to us anyway with the emergence of Mighten & Johnson. Hopefully we can get our noses in front and they can pitch in enough to give players a break if needed, and do some good deals deadline day.

    SL nails it

    https://www.nottinghampost.com/sport...walker-3752292

I am wondering if Walker wasn't your player, how much they would like for selling him given his performance this season.
