Remember Lineker was so rubbish on Five Live that they dumped him and now he's earning a king's ransom on TV. Funny old game, isn't it?

No - you're confusing him with Dirk.

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

8th straight win , if it wasn’t for such a strong Liverpool side they’d be in with a chance of winning it again.

Had Villa down to win this game - been playing well and game at a packed & noisy Villa Park

Great end-to-end football, but where Villa has one star (Grealish) Leicester are strong in every position and just overwhelmed Villa, winning the game comfortably

Last month I was hoping Forest would sign Ianacho on loan as he was floundering in the Leicester reserves, low on confidence and never playing. He was a hot young striker for man City, but form slumped after a big money move. Now, Brendan Rogers even has Ianacho playing like a world beater (he scored and set up one today).

Thing I like best about Leicester 8-ponts clear of man City, is the self-entitled Premier League elite clubs like Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs, looking at the league table, scratching their heads and saying "we cant even climb above Leicester City, FFS"

In most other seasons Leicester would be top.

Thats how it should be, even though they won it recently they didn’t seem to show they would be up there again this season. Seems to be something going on at the club behind the scenes that they arent sharing with the other which is working for them.

It's good to see Leicester doing well... if only for the reason that it demonstrates that clubs of our stature can somehow compete again at the very top without spending the stupid amounts of money like the oil teams do. They have a blueprint for success that every side outside of the Sky Sports Elite Six League should be looking to emulate.

Leicester need to get the hang of VAR if they are going to challenge the cheating scouse bastards.

Sorry, there seems to be something wrong with autocorrect on my iPhone. Every time I try to type cheating scouse bastards it types cheating scouse bastards

Watched them today at my old mans house, impressed. We both agreed we’d love to see them deny the Scouse bastards the title.
I know they are a local rival but I’d still rather them win it than them whinging twats and it’s for the greater good.

Discussing the success of an East Midlands team and a potential rival, makes me realise just how much I dislike Liverpool.

Let's hope every club throws their game against Leicester to let them win the title, like they did back in 2016.

Despite some of their fans having a hate boner for us, I don't really see Leicester as rivals. If Derby ever won a major trophy I'd be absolutely devastated, but I can't say I was particularly bothered when Leicester won those League Cups and the Premier League, in the latter case it was actually quite good to see someone upset the Sky Sports Six apple cart.

Should Leicester win their next two games (I back them to beat Man City), that game against Liverpool on Boxing Day could be massive. Should Leicester win that (as well as the previous two games) then I reckon another Liverpool bottle job might be on the cards.

Leicester will get nowhere near Liverpool. They might end up finishing second behind a one horse race.

Eight in a row will be their season's high point, and they're still 8 points behind. They can't be expected to sustain it. Liverpool will keep that kind of form going until the title is won.

The only team with enough quality to chase Liverpool are Man City, but the gap there is too big.

Somehow you just think that Liverpool are riding their luck a bit at the moment, whilst Leicester are doing the business.

Will the Scouse turds mess it up?

I was in a pub in Nottingham last night and a cheer went up when Leicester scored. Never thought I’d see the day tbh.

It’s as if the football team had gone the same way as their rugby team and because Nottingham has no rival they’ve become our more local “big team”
