    Default Matchday Carabao Cup 2nd Round - NFFC v Coco's Frank Lampard's D***y

    Tuesday 7.45

Usual gubbins will go here when I'm feeling less unwell.

    Never change a winning team.

Let's stuff these w*nkers. I'm sure there's an arsehole repair place in sheepville.

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

Dawson needs to be looked after - or cloned. I'd probably rest all our over 30s given that they've all been important this season. Realistically, Lolley probably won't play either.

Probably in the minority here, but I am more concerned about getting 3 points against Preston than winning this, purely on the basis that we are going to get another two opportunities to beat them later this season anyway.

Given that Lolley seems to have been playing with a bit of a minor injury lately and how important Dawson has been so far, I'd rest the two of them with an eye on the Preston game.

Without Tomori, Mount and Wilson they aren't as good as last season so we should hopefully have enough to beat them if we play to our potential.

I'd rather we kept Carvalho away from this kind of fixture (happy for Johnson to get an opportunity though!) but otherwise I wouldn't be unhappy with this. Would be good to get some extra minutes for those not currently in the starting XI and this fixture is a great opportunity for those players to stake a claim for a spot against Preston.

    Play your strongest team.

    Winning games breeds confidence.

There's a 2 week international break after next weekend.

Lets smash the sheep shagging fuckers!

League takes priority and some of the lads who haven't had a game yet will be chomping at the bit to play.

    Beating the sheep takes priority.

    Nope.

We've pissed about in this league or worse for two decades. We aren't going to win the league cup, so it doesn't really matter what the result is. A win would be nice but if Lolley or Grabban get injured on Tuesday then we're idiots for risking them.

    Jenkinson Tobias Worrall Ribiero
    Bostock Semedo
    Adomah Silva Appiah

    ---

Need some rotation but not too much as it's Derby. A lot that played today will be shattered, and I am sure who plays on Tuesday will give us an indication whos involved against Preston.

Hated it when we drew them because of this reason. It's all about the League.

I think a win would be good for momentum. Unbeaten in 5 games, would be great to extend that. Having said that, I want a win against both Derby and Preston.

I get the impression that Sabri understands how much the fans yearn to beat the sheep. I think we'll still play a strong team.

We should play our strongest available team every game, the players could just as easily get injured in training plus we should always go all out to beat these sheep shagging bastards.

Thing is what is not a strong team?

We don't really know yet with our squad, from what I have seen everybody is close to the same level excluding Lolley & Grabban.

If we didn't have two league fixtures afterwards I'd agree. But even if we lose this we've two other chances to put it right.

I'd like to beat them of course, but anyone important carrying an injury (Lolley), coming back from an injury (Carvalho) or in need of a rest (Dawson) shouldn't be playing in this one IMO. In the long run, this fixture isn't worth risking one of our better players for if there are any doubts.

Same, a distraction we could have done without. Usually the 2nd round of the League Cup would have been a great opportunity to rest players for the league game on the Saturday and give minutes to those players that need that, annoying that we don't have that opportunity this time around.

Intriguing for SL, what team to play?

Would hope that Brennan Johnson is on the bench, but how far to go to bring Academy players in? It's an important game.
