Was talking to a Fulham fan a few minutes ago. He reckons as good as they were against Millwall (he was surprised at how well they played), they are equally as capable of turning in a duff performance.

Wonder if Joe Lolley will be fit tomorrow? That is a big factor for me.

I imagine the rest midweek was because SL had this match in mind. We need to give them something to think about defensively.

I can’t get a ticket for this one, but I might join the Forest boat someone was advertising at Charlton game. Anyone got a spare?

And yeah, we've tried to play football in every game so far. Not sure how that equates to shithousing.

But we fight fire with fire and play muscular football. Mitrovic most certainly will play tough.
Basically kick the fuck out of them then

Another lesson coming up in my 'GBR's Who the hell is Sabri Lamouchi' class.

So far, I'm seeing him as a coach who doesn't over complicate tactics / instructions to the team.

So far, I'm seeing him as quite capable in learning himself while a game is on-going.

These two points means that he looks to make changes while there's still time for them to have an effect... and... the team doesn't struggle to adjust to those changes.

So far, I feel he appreciates we can't yet fire on all four against the likes of Fulham away which is why I trust him that we're not going to take a drubbing against them or anybody else.

With all of this, I'm thinking that Lady Luck might be taking some interest in him. They say you make your own luck, well if she likes what she sees she starts to enjoy a visit or two.

I'm thinking we'll lose and it'll be in the first half, one or two goals. Sabri's learning curve sees 2nd half 0-0. Team lost but see where the coach was coming from, Lady Luck scribbles herself a note to find some time for Forest.

I'd take a defeat here if it guaranteed a win against Derby and 3 points against Preston

I would take 3 points here over a win v Derby in the cup.

fair point. I'd probably even sacrifice both games for a guaranteed win over preston

Fulham and Preston are the priorities.
Derby will be a chance for rotation and getting players up to fitness. I reckon we will see Carvalho in the squad for Tuesday.

It only takes a second to score a goal.

    Fulham 8/13 Draw 12/5 Nottingham Forest 4/1
    Sky bet.
After Prutton predicting 1-1 against Charlton,he predicts 2-0 Fulham.

I think he realises that the new acquisitions aren't quite ready for 90 minutes in the Championship all together. He's bringing them in gradually, exposing them to this new type of football slowly rather than dropping them all in the deep end at the same time. Hopefully once this integration period is over we'll see the end of Watson and start to see football successfully played the way Lamouchi wants it to be played. It's obvious he wants us to pass the ball but right now we don't look very adept at it.

Re Watson: it can't be a coincidence that both AK and Lamouchi decided he was worth a place in the starting line up at the beginning of the season, can it?

Has Prutton ever predicted a Forest win? He always seems so negative towards us.

I will accpet nothing less than a win here, a win on Tuesday and again V Preston. Show some ambition.

Yes, there's that BR. And I also sense that as he learns about the players capabilities he won't be looking for them to play in a way they'll struggle to fulfil. For me, any coach who'll temper his own ideals to suit what he has to perform them is heading in the right direction.

Interestingly, you were quite dismissive of refereeing decisions that went against us last season under MON.

Glad to have you pulling in the same direction as the club again.

Rubbish. I was dismissive of the notion that "it cost us points". That isn't what I said in my post above.

The club decided to replace MON in the summer. A decision that had my full backing. It's you who aren't pulling in the same direction as the club by constantly banging on about last season.

I'd like to hear your take on how long you think Lamouchi will be in the job then.

You're not EM are you? I claim a fiver just in case.

Cant see anything but a defeat.
Maybe if the team turn up from the first minute, and we are able to take any chances we create then who knows, maybe a score draw cos we arent going to hold them out for the 90 mins.

Well...England at Headingley could take lessons from the swerving in evidence on here.

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

This should be an interesting one. If we set up as we did against Leeds and Charlton, we won't find ourselves 1-0 down. It will be 2-0 or 3-0by half time. To have any chance we have to show some
aggression, keep possession and take Fulham on. And why not do that anyway? We have nothing to lose -- anything we get out of this would be a bonus.
