Just hope it's one where we find a way to shithouse them.
I'm not a massive fan of the approach, but could see it getting quite physical and niggly.

I'd take another point all day long.

If you are coming down from Nottingham on the train then plan ahead as no trains running into St Pancras and Kings Cross.

Just field 10 defenders. Their win against Milwall was one of the most dominant wins in recent memory in t' championship.

They did manage to cock up opening fixture so we have small glimmer of hope.

The thing I love about forest is we seem to struggle against average shit teams, but seem to turn up at games we think we’ll lose. These are no better than Leeds if we defend how we have been there is no reason why we can’t nick this. Though Not overly fussed about this we have had a very very tough start, aslong as we don’t get hammered, onto the next one!

Samba Sow definitely to start this one for me. Could use Semedo’s engine too but worried he looked a bit leggy vs Charlton.

I think Sabri will shake things up a bit.

    Sow, Bostock and Silva.

    Adomah Grabban and Lolley.

No chance Forest. Fulham have too much talent in midfield and up front - Cairney, Arter, Johansen, Cavaleiro, Mitrovic and Knockaert.

I'd bite your hand off for a point now.

The only half decent team they've played all season, Barnsley, beat them first game of the season.

Yes, they have a first team that on paper should give anyone in the league a good game, however they do have a weakness and that's their manager who is still very green at this management malarkey.

Having seen the annoyance of Lamouchi in his post match interview following the Charlton game, I'm hoping he really gets into the players so that we get a far more disciplined, effective performance from the men in Garibaldi.

We still seem to be struggling to find the answer to linking the midfield and Grabban, he is far to isolated. Fix that conundrum and we have a sneaky chance of nicking this, but I agree that a score draw would be perfectly adequate after the start to the season we have had.

I couldn't understand how Fulham found themselves relegated last season.
They had a lot of decent players.
During the closed season they have managed to hold on to most and invested well their failure money.
The main uncertainty for me was the appointment of Parker as manager.
He was an intelligent player and seems to be applying his football brain in his new role to great effect.
Forest seem to be shaking off the shackles of 20 years of troubles.
However, I think this game has come too early in our renaissance.
I think we will fight hard but lose.
    I still travel in hope...

As above grab a point and geroff home.

Also agree that we need to find a way to link up with Mr Grabban, but Mr Grabban needs to put a bit more in and not need 5 touches when he does gets a chance.

Can’t see us getting anything here but I have a feeling that after this SL will have learned a lot and we will improve from here on in.

This is the type of game we'd win under Dougie or AK, to then only lose or draw to Brum at home the week after.

We haven’t shithoused anyone, total opposite in fact as in both our away games we should’ve been playing against 10 men and had a penalty.

Both Leeds & Charlton players we’re into the refs, the shithousing twats

Fulham should beat us. They should beat everybody. Their squad is like a Championship All-Star XI. All the wanking over them after Wednesday misses a crucial point - the gulf in finances between Fulham and Millwall is enormous. Fulham had Kevin Mcdonald, Bobby Reid, Aboubakar Kamara, Harrison Reed and Cyprus Christie (autocorrect but I'm keeping it) on the bench. Most of those would get in our team.

It would be an amazing achievement for Fulham not to get promoted. Between them and Wolves a couple of years ago, we're talking about the strongest teams ever at this level.

Reminded me of last season when we were suddenly a shithouse team scoring from hoofthrows.

I should let it go but I'm still annoyed about the blind ref at Charlton missing that clear and obvious leg breaker foul which was right in front of him. Awful decision. I'd have fancied us to win it against ten men and with a penalty to take. We were unlucky on Wednesday night. Hopefully we will get some going our way tomorrow.

And yeah, we've tried to play football in every game so far. Not sure how that equates to shithousing.

Fulhams a real test, think they play 433 with front line that deserves some respect. Id play a 4231, two solid players at the base, some invention for the counter in front, two wingers on the chalk dust, target man in the middle & hope for the best.

    Muric
    Jenkinson Worrall Dawson Robinson
    Bostock Semedo
    Adomah Silva Lolley
    Mir.

If we start with the same standoffish attitude as we did on Wednesday, we'll get smashed. I'd also be questioning SL's motivational skills.

If we start as we did in the 2nd half with more pressing when not on the ball, we might be able to grab something from the game.

Semedo needs a rest. Ameobi needs a rest. Watson needs a rest. Jenkinson doesn't look quite match fit, certainly not enough to face Cavalerio. Robbo struggled against Leeds and Charlton when faced with pace, Knockaert would do the same.

    Muric
    Yuri
    Worrall
    Dawson
    Cash
    Sow
    Bostock
    Silva
    Adomah
    Lolley
    Grabban

Asking for trouble if we sit back, they have a stunning attcking line up. We'll need to push them back as much as possible to have a chance.

Fulham are a very good side, no mistake, so I’d be picking a few big lads and give them a proper shoeing in the tunnel before kick-off.

Let’s see if Mitrovic is as effective when he’s been filled-in by Joe Worrall and John Bostock.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

I'm a bit with Strummer here. I think Fulham will start with a bit of gusto and a spring in their step, so I want to see some real steel and guts in midfield for the first half at least, then if the guys are tired bring on the subs.

But we fight fire with fire and play muscular football. Mitrovic most certainly will play tough.

I’d go with this line up for this one:
    Muric
    Cash
Robinson (but keeping close eye on him)
    Dawson
    Worrall
    Bostock
    Sow
    Semedo
    Lolley
    Adomah
    Grabbo

The first half performance could turn out to be a blessing in disguise because Sabri will be into them to ensure we don't play in that way again. Had that not happened we could have seen it manifest at Fulham and then we would have been steamrolled.

A slight change in personnel required here for me with Bostock and Sow coming in for Watson and Semedo, possibly even Cash slotting in at RB again although I think he might stick with Jenkinson and see how he partners Lolley down that side.
