I'd go for Fernando Llorente. A much improved alternative to the Murphy-type striker, even at 34.

would have thought hooper would have been worth a punt for a season contract on a modest wage

Ansarifard. These tricks only work in the Greek League.

SL must have taken Bony to the world cup with Ivory Coast alongside Drogba and Toure?

Is Danny Welbeck a free agent - would link up well with Grabban

    Gone to Watford.

Sturridge is still free. Imagine someone like Villa or Newcastle would give him a chance back in the Prem, though.

Why do I get the feeling we might see Wilfried Bony through the door? The fact that he's a free agent and Lamouchi selected him 14 times for the Ivory Coast make this a realistic possibility.

Depends on his wage demands, but I did read earlier that Lamouchi might consider the free agents market for a striker and it wouldn't surprise me if he went for someone he is familiar with.

I hope not. Last time I saw him he looked overweight and disinterested

Depends how much he respects Lamouchi and whether he can be arsed for one final project..

This is Forest though, so he'll have Andy Cole levels of "quality".

Hooper's not ideal, but after that today we definitely need another forward option and he looks like one of the few availble worth considering.
