I can’t for the life of me find the „Guy Moussi“ thread, but on that website today, Paul Taylor has a brilliant interview with the Frenchman, in which he talks about Forest, living in Paris and Nottingham and his football career and how, at 34, he still enjoys a kickabout on the Forest Recreation Ground.

Well worth a read, and again another stonking example of quality football writing (and I cannot really believe I’m saying that for a piece under Tails‘ byline, but leaving the Evening Post seems to have been the best thing that’s ever happened to him!)

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

Obviously he was working under huge constraints at the post. I've thought their journalism has been shocking and lazy for years.

The articles that particular irk me are the ones where they just print other peoples meaningless tweets under the heading "here's what you've been saying" I can't think of anything lazier.

You think? He's posted selfies with his missues, but that said he is a very well groomed chap, so wouldn't surprise me.

Forest players featured 4 times on Soccer am earlier

Carva in the 'let's all laugh at diving' clip

Then Silva twice and Watson! in the 'all aboard the showboat'

They showed the Silva one where he did the fullback from the other side of the pitch and it looked pure filth

Which will happen first? A Forest player sent-off or Forest awarded a penalty?

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

We are going to fail if we can't score more goals.
Sat at 5th we have only scored 20.
You have to go down to 11th to find a team who have scored less... and that's Direby with 19.
I know we have a decent defensive record, and a strong spine is critical in the Championship, but if we don't soon start scoring more we are going to either draw or lose games.
4-2-3-1 is all well and good when your lone striker is someone like Tammi Abraham, but it isn't going to hurt opponents when Grabban is your man.
Yes he is top scorer, and yes he is working hard and running hard.
He takes the few chances coming his way a lot of the time, but on Saturday we had the 1 clear chance, tricky one I know, and he missed it.

Does Southbank City show the red button mid-week games?

It's on Sky Sports Action, not the red button.

A valid concern, but on the flip side Lolley looks like he's warming up to being the forward we saw last season with improved displays and we're yet to see Carvalho properly yet.

Just hope we sign Kodji from Villa on loan. Can't get a game and has bags of pace.

Can't get a game... he'll be lacking match fitness then.
And is he not another with the potential for biscuit status - missed 9 months 2017-18 with a bad ankle injury that eventually required surgery.
This season he has had a repeat of the ankle problem and also suffered a fractured cheek bone in a "freak training ground incident".
He looked pretty good in his time with Bristol City but the injury set backs have dogged his career at Villa.
And is he good enough for the Premiership when we get there?

We should avoid Kodjia. Injury prone, on big money, is 30 and has had 2 prolific seasons.

We can do better with just a bit of shopping around.
