    Get out.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

Besides the fact that Cowley has gone from earning reportedly 140k a year to more than a million. The move makes absolutely no sense for him.

Realistically if he'd stayed at Lincoln he could be playing in a higher league than Huddersfield next season.

Plus, I could have sworn Lincoln beat them in the cup this year?

Yeah, like Keith said, money again.

I like John Smith's in the can because it's got a widget and it's not fizzy pop, but still has a real frothy head on it. Guinness draught, too, has the widget and delivers a good beer out of the can. I don't get out much!

The very nature of football could quite have easily seen them sacked at Lincoln if their form went on the slide. There are zero guarantees in football.

On the flip side they have moved to a bigger club, with a better stadium, training facilities and squad. Huddersfield have about £100m sat in the back over the next 3 years from parachute payments and by the sounds of it they are earning a bob or two. Personally fair fucking play to them, I think it is a good move for them and hope they do well.

Cowley? Getting sacked at Lincoln? I'm just going to assume that you haven't paid attention, or have no idea about the situation beyond Huddersfield and parachute payments.

Yes. Your telling me if form didn't dip and they were relegated and then started the following season poorly they couldn't be sacked? There are absolutely zero guarantees in football and the Cowley brothers, no matter how much you will proclaim, aren't infallible or unsackable.

Its a step up, Huddersfield have a decent side already with money to spend, by all accounts Cowley gets a managerial role with autonomy on signings & approach.

The guys clearly ambitious, looks a better move for him than the Sheff Wednesday coaching role he was also in for.

His wage has apparently increased tenfold. Who wouldn't move for that?

Still hope he fails though, and Lincoln continue being successful. Huddersfield need to go back to their level.

I don’t know if you’ve seen Lincoln play but they are a bit agricultural, a big difference to what Huddersfield fans will want to see.
It’s easier to apply that style rising from non league than it is to a descending Prem club.

We will see. Personally I think it could be a mistake career wise, but the money suggests otherwise.

Havent seen a deal of either to be honest, although Im probably more surprised to hear Huddersfield demand expansive football, I dont think Wagner had them playing much. Werent they promoted out the championship with a negative goal difference?

Hudders are in freefall (0 wins in 17), by all acccounts they've players who probably don't fancy the Championship slog. I think fans would settle for a different way.

Have to agree with Mase. A team which regularly loses will accept any award of three points until they once again become arrogant Premier luvvies.

The Cowley's have succeeded everywhere they have been, I'm sure they can weld the Huddersfield players into a team again and maybe not gain promotion, but gain respectability.
