Tyler forces an own goal and Grant gets an assist to put Lincoln 2-0 at Rotherham.

Cowleys in for a third promotion in 4 years?

And they got it all rolling all at Braintree, who have plummeted since they left.

I saw the highlights including Tyler doing a Ben Brereton to win a penalty.

1-1 now. Cracking free kick for the scouse.

Good game this. City certainly giving them something to think about.

1-2 down now after an embarrassing scene of pushing and shoving where the current England keeper felt the need to run the length of the pitch to shout the odds.

Anyway, Jorge 'shit beard' Grant is on now.

Oooof! Andrade scores a belter to equalise. Causing my Italian commentator to say, and I quote "what a beauty!"

    Che bella partita!

Two goals for Tyler yesterday, 2nd in the league, they don’t look like losing any momentum just yet.

I thought they looked pretty useful against our U23s; given that's not much of a yardstick, but they obviously had more to give.

Cowley brothers left Lincoln to manage Huddersfield Town.

Shame, I'm sure Tyler would have learned a lot from them.

Shame for Lincoln City, although inevitable they would be poached by a bigger club. Going to Huddersfield is a strange choice though (notwithstanding the money obviously)

That’s very disappointing news and a bit Gary Rowettesque.

Be funny if Lincoln take their place in the championship next season, which is looking a possibility.

That might have just ruined my bet on Huddersfield going down this season.

Here's hoping that Blackburn and Forest can play weakened teams later in the season versus Huddersfield's relegation rivals as we prepare for the playoffs.

If Tyler gets fucked about now I'll be fuming.

    Go sort 'em Billy.

Strange move, but emphasises the power of money.

Think they'll look back and regret their decision in the future.

Massive step up in expectation and their stock will fall dramatically is they can't get Udders on an even keel straight away. Lincoln fans were grateful for what they had, not sure the ex-Premier League prima donnas at the John Smith's Stadium will give them as much time.

Problem they have is they don't really have any ex-Premier League prima donnas. They should have never been there, then they shouldn't have stayed up and in my opinion their squad is representative of where they are now.

They have a poor squad and a poor move for the Cowley's IMO. How many times do we see managers leave a club on the up for one with problems and it actually becomes a success?

    I agree.

They were a good fit there, like Nathan Jones was at Luton. The grass isn’t always greener...
