As far as the chances of this happening, I'd say the fact Tails reported it is significant. The club had to feed him some information eventually. He's the only fulltime Forest reporter and everyone else had scoops except him. I was almost feeling sorry for him.
I know what you're saying about YouTube clips, however this is one of the better ones I've seen.

All the feedback from supporters and reporters back up this up too. Widely claimed to be one if the best players outside of the couple of big clubs in Portugal and consistent in his performances too. It's the most excited I've been about a potential signing that I've been in a while. I can't really see any negatives to this one.

The positive is it looks like things are beginning to move in terms of incomings.

I also like what Tails says about Sabri having identified a need to add a few more technically gifted players to his squad, along with a little more pace. Hallelujah. I completely agree.

Hopefully the days of having to suffer a team with 3 defensive midfielders at home are over.

Whoever made that quick change to his Wiki page, unsurprisingly got themselves an article in the Post.

Just another shameless demonstration of why the Post will use even the most tenuous of links to anything Forest-related to generate an online click or a paper sale.

The passing range quote about Silva makes me very happy.

Apart from Joao, we have nobody that can pass the ball 30+ yards consistently, seems Sabri is addressing this straight away. I think we lack technical ability massively.

Something I've been waiting us to add for ages, I genuinely thought Karanka would bring Clayton in (actually think not getting someone like that in was his biggest mistake as our manager), we need someone to tie defence and attack together and set the pace of the game if we're in possession.

I would go as far to say that not bringing in passing ability from the base of midfield was the reason Karanka didnít succeed here.

He had everything else right or near enough but just couldnít progress the ball fast enough up the pitch. The CB woes didnít help, but playing the holding midfield as he did allowed teams to dominate space in their own half against us.

One thing I get the impression with looking at who he's moving out and looking to bring in, coupled with his comments about Carvalho and the formation he plays is that whatever the outcome we can probably look forward to some quick attacking football and flair.

Even if we finished 7th and got to watch that all season I would be happy. It's all personal preference but for me football is not just about the league position at the end of the season it's about entertainment value.

Watching players who can get me out of my seat with excitement and flashes of brilliance is equally as important to me. I sure as hell wouldn't of wanted to watch the shit Warnock served up at Cardiff, promotion or not.

If we was only on course to finish 7th Sabri wouldn’t be here in January, I reckon we need to be cemented in the top 6 pushing the automatic places for us not to change manager again

I agree with that and believe you're right. I was just making a point of what football I'm hopeful of seeing now and that as long as we get that I'm happy even if we did miss out.

Silva? Not good enough for Forest.

If we're serious about promotion, then we should be targeting Gold.

Silva means Forest in Latin, so he's got that going for him... Goes nicely with Carvalho meaning Oak in Portuguese.
