If he wants to play in the Championship, because heís failed in the division above for the last few years, he can be paid appropriately else no thanks.
I saw JH in his first season at Shrewsbury and kept an eye on his career from there. He was incredible back then: flying saves all over the place and confidently plucking crosses out of the sky.

Later on in his career, he bulked up too much and lost some of his natural springiness. He started punching crosses like his hero Casillas and never looked that good at it. He never did conquer his weakness with shots low down to the left.

Seriously, I wouldn't take him on a free these days. No better than what we have already. Shame.

There was a stat doing the rounds when he was over here that he made the most mistakes that lead to goals by any keeper in serie A. They weren't exactly sad to see him go.

Usually keepers improve with age/experience, but not in Joe Hart's case.

As a milanista with a keeper who seems to have peaked at 18 I believe this is entirely possible.

I remember going to see Forest v Brum in an FA Cup match a few years back, and Hart was on loan to Brum.
They got away with a 0-0 draw and he made a string of the most brilliant saves.
It was a memorable goalkeeping performance.
But back in those days there was no such thing as a sweeper-keeper.
As a playing style it just doesn't suit some keepers, and Joe Hart is one it doesn't suit.
It's a real shame... my own career as a potentially brilliant keeper came to a premature end when the Club I was with realised taking crosses was not something I was happy doing.
They were wrong of course - crosses are for centre-halves to deal with.
What else does a centre-half do FFS?
