    Default Curbishley

has ruled himself out of the Wolves job. (Now there's a chap I wouldn't mind seeing at Forest).

and Notts have appointed Keith Curle. (good move I think)

Curbishley's really starting to get on my nerves. Every time a job outside the Premiership comes up, he goes on about how he's managed in the Premiership, and he's earnt the right to take his next job in the Premiership.

As soon as the Wolves job comes up, he gets interviewed, and unsuprisingly, the interview doesn't go too well, probably because his lack of practice over the years, because he's ruled himself out of so many jobs. Then he's picky with the contract, which I'm assuming is probably one till the end of the season, to see if he can keep them up.

The guy needs to learn that because he's been out for so long, he's going to have to work his way back up to the Premiership with a Championship team.

Been out the game for too long. Would make too many mistakes before he got back into it and we can't afford the time.

He wants a Premiership job but one based in London. His only hope is Jol getting the sack from Fulham and them being desperate enough to take him, he's shit.

He did a great job at Charlton. As soon as he left Charlton they rapidly fell down from the Premiership to League One.

He did, but how long ago was that, and what has he done since?

Curbs seems, logically, like a decent choice - but something just sticks in my throat with him. Just a gut instince that he wouldn't be right for us for some reason.

This needs debating. Alan the man? He got Charlton up twenty years ago.

I disagree. Harvey's right. Alan's the man, for Derby! Mel likes something cheap and quick.

Rave from the grave! How long since this guy managed a club?

If I've missed the joke, I apologise.

Remember the time we were considering bringing Hoddle back from hibernation!
All the old school managers, who's left, can only thing of Warnock. But to be fair, he does get the job done. Deadly dull. Dull but nevertheless deadly.
